Comfortable, Modern, & Clean Like Home

Our stay was wonderful. The accommodations exceeded our expectations. And the accommodations and services were very well thought out, and if we return to vacation there is a very high probability that we will rebook This place again.

Beautiful and relaxing.

The property was very clean, updated, and was a great location. It has a beautiful boardwalk to a lake, wonderful pools and is walking distance to beach. We enjoyed a quiet and relaxing vacation at this property. 30a beach girls easy to work with and responded quickly to all questions we had.

A Little piece of tranquillity

This property is the perfect place to stay while visiting 30a. It is an amazing condo and it is not far away from anything you decide to do. Also, the host is great with communication so if you need to reach out for anything she will respond in a timely manner. This place is the all around perfect place to stay. I highly recommend staying here.

So many great memories!!!

Lazy Duck is a great place for a 30a getaway. It's so close to the beach. 30a beach girls spoils you and the condo was so comfortable and clean and again they were such attentive hosts. Their place has everything you need even beach towels. They held a bonfire 3 of the nights we were there and likes more addicts we went to all 3!! Planning on staying there again next summer.

Great accommodation

The Lazy Duck Retreat condo was excellent for our party of 8. The furniture and finishings were beautiful. The trash drop off was easy. Our family enjoyed the pool area after a long day at the beach. And the charging area for the golf carts we rented were fast, too. We would definitely stay here again in this particular condo and area! Thank you!

Really nice house/Great amenities/Amazing service from 30 A Beach Girls

We've rented 4 different units at Redfish and this one was by far the best! Super clean, updated, and fully stocked with everything we could have needed. Location was perfect, close to the beach and just a few steps and elevator ride to the pool. 30 A Beach Girls Hollie and Heidi were super easy to work with, Hollie had a charcuterie board and sangria ready for our arrival. Easy check in & check out. We will rebook.

Great location, convenient to the beach, incredible condo, 30a beach girls is amazing!

Easy check in, great location with easy access to all things Blue Mountain Beach, just a few blocks from the gulf and all of the fun things. We love Blue Mabel, Blue Mountain Creamery and of course redfish taco and live music. The porch was our favorite spot to people watch and enjoy the live music. Condo was spotless and beautifully decorated, the nicest condo we've stayed at. We love 30a Beach Girls and book with them regularly! This is probably going to be our choice of condo for awhile. We will be back!

Great spot even better customer service.

The lazy duck was great. Plenty of room for our big family and plenty of space to sprawl out and have other family members join us for dinner and hang out. The grills at the pool and corn hole on the lawn was awesome to have making it easy to entertain everyone. I can't say enough about the beach girls and how great their customer service was. They truly cared about our stay and wanted to make sure everything was perfect. We will definitely be coming back to the Lazy Duck and will try to always use the beach girls when we're are down at 30 A.

Counting the days we can return!

This was by far the best experience we have ever had! The included bonfire night was fantastic, and we were fortunate to attend three of them. Yes, you can participate in more than one! The condo is incredibly luxurious and clean. It's so spacious that you wouldn't believe it's a condo. It's also very quiet, and you never hear the neighbors. The beach is just a short walk away, and the nearby ice cream shop offers delicious treats—going there became our nightly ritual before sunset, though the line forms quickly. The beds are all comfortable, and everything you need is provided. While the pool can get a bit loud with children, we visited later in the day, so it wasn't an issue for us. 30A Beach Girls provided exceptional service, including bonfires, goodie bags of treats, and even gifted a set of electric bikes for my husband's birthday. You have to book this condo! Thank you, Breanna and Hollie!

Perfection at Redfish Village

Pre-trip. The property-manager had great communication and we had no worries about things going into the trip. I asked if they had any boogie boards we could borrow/use when we were there. They say they did but they also pointed us to a great rental place that could provide us with more gear. Check In: Property manager's communication was on point: Sent us a welcome packet (a second time now MAJOR plus) with all the details, and this time including the lock box code for when we get in. When we got there and got in, they had some nice welcoming music pre-playing on the TV, thermostat was set to a nice temperature, and there was cookies, flowers, a handwritten welcome card all waiting for us! It was a great welcome that made us feel well... welcome! The Stay AWESOME!! Was treated to a bonfire. The condo was spotless and everything worked perfectly. The pool was never overcrowded and just an elevator ride down. The beach took us 8 minutes to walk to and was also never crowded. Communication during our stay was constant and helpful. We highly recommend and we will return!

The best experience!

This was the perfect condo for our 2 families of 4. The condo was equipped with everything we needed from pool / beach items to kitchen equipment. Beds were so comfortable! Condo was spotless. Redfish Village is just a few blocks north of beach, providing a quick walk to the most beautiful beach. Also great outdoor pools if you need a break from the beach. Love covered parking. 30a Beach Girls is the host everyone should experience! They think of everything and will go out of their way to assist you with anything you ask!

Linen and towels thought they could be better

My overall rating is good /and not so good the only thing I didn't like about my stay was your linens they were very dingy and the towels were also dingy. The towels had a mildew like smell I had to go buy new towels. Other than that my state was very pleasant.

Excellent Stay!

We had an exceptional stay at Lazy Duck Retreat condo. The condo was very clean. The beds were comfortable, the location was quiet, everything worked as expected, and all went smoothly. The communication was great. We would definitely recommend Redfish Village and this unit. We also enjoyed Redfish Taco and Blue Mountain Creamery nearby.

Everything was just how it was posted and better!

The stay at this location was AMAZING. Plenty of space for my family. Everyone enjoyed it and stated if we returned its gotta be at Lazy Duck! Pool area was great. Communication with beach girls was always simple and quick.

Perfect condo for a beach retreat.

Great condo near the beach. 30a beach girls were very friendly and very helpful. A bag was left and I was texted promptly they offered to send it back. Condo is clean, roomy, and we had a great time. Safe area. Easy parking. Great sky view of the sunset. No complaints. Stayed with 4 adults including grandparents ...all enjoyed the condo. It suited our needs perfectly I would give it a 10. Highly recommend anyone reading this book it.

Wonderful escape!

We booked the Lazy Duck Retreat at the last minute when our other property became unavailable. The Beach Girls were extremely helpful and went out of their way to get us settle. The Lazy Duck is a beautifully decorated corner unit with plenty of room for our three adults and two active children. The extra space at the entrance was a great plus for storing beach things and putting on sunscreen. The children loved the playground and the pool was perfect. The walk to the beach is very short, but the bonus of a shuttle is wonderful when the kids get cranky.

Amazing stay - newly renovated. First class!

This was our first stay at the Lazy Duck Retreat in Blue Mountain Beach. The condo was so spacious and fabulously decorated. Recent renovations are fantastic and obvious. The kitchen was well stocked and furnishings were coastal chic and also comfortable. The condo was conveniently located on 30A. Red Fish Village is a great complex. We could walk to several restaurants, shops, and to the beach. This was also our first time renting with 30A Beach Girls and we were so impressed. The attention to detail and little things stood out - from high quality towels to full bars of soap. Their communication and response time was the best. They even checked on us a couple of times during our stay to make sure we had everything we needed. We hope to rent again soon. Thank you to the owners of the Lazy Duck Retreat for sharing your piece of paradise.

Great property and great hosts!

I appreciate the hospitality and support shown by Hollie and 30a Beach Girls. The condo was extremely clean and everything functioned perfectly. We had a great time at Lazy Duck. The communication was super easy and quick and the place looks exactly like it does on the pictures. The neighborhood is very conveniently located and very quiet! Loved the gym and heated pool. The beach was just a short walk away was there in under 3 minutes. The housekeeping staff were very friendly and professional. They changed linens out after we had family come in for part of our stay then leave. Loved that personal touch! Would absolutely recommend to stay there!

Clean/stocked home; perfect location; responsive management

Gorgeous condo that was very clean. We loved the walkability to the beach (the shuttle was nice to), ice cream, the health food shop and several restaurants. We sincerely appreciated the welcome drinks, yummy coffee, and fresh foliage in the kitchen. After a day at the beach, my son extends a heartfelt thanks for the supply of aloe for his sunburn, very thoughtful since we didn't have a car to go purchase some, thank you to Hollie and Joy! We will return.

Great Family Vacation

Things that were excellent - the unit itself - the layout, furniture, pool toys and towels, kitchen setup, beach shuttle. It was all so nice and perfect for our group of 10! Things that need improvement - the wifi was very spotty and didn't always work. No cable TV.

Bachelorette Party

Our Airbnb was cancelled 3 weeks before our trip, 30A cancelled our trip and rebooked our place and we were never notified. We yelled until we got someones attention, and that is when we got in contact with lazy Duck Retreat. We are thankful we even had a place. Most google reviews said that people had to go back home since there was no place for them. Our place was beautiful and very new. My biggest complaint is how guilty the owners made us feel. This was never our fault. We paid what we all agreed on 8 months ago, and we were not going to pay more for something that was not our fault. The decor was not correct, things were overpromised and not delivered. Communication was awful. We spoke to 3 different people and none of them were communcating with each other. We were promised by the owner a 3 PM check out, it was a little later due to decor. Cockroaches and spiders all throughout the kitchen and bedrooms and hallways. Overheard other families complaining in the pool about the management. I do want to say our place was large and WE WERE thankful for it but in the end, the process was absolutely horrid at 30 A Seaside. We were told at the beginning they could help with grocery delivery, bachelorette decor, shuttles and we ended up doing everything on our own except for a balloon arch and some bride decor. It was stressful, half of us flying, half of us driving. Not sure we would even have a place when we arrived. We received a contract a week before the trip with a huge balance at the bottom, we never signed it. We did not owe them anything, we paid almost a year ago and the original place cancelled and rebooked us to make more money. In the end, the whole trip caused a stressful vacation not only for the bride but for the party that went through so much stress. Michelle greeted us and had great information on restaurants and was helpful but in the end, the whole team made us feel so guilty for something that happened to us out of our control. We will never return to 30A.

Lovely place, lovely location, lovely hosts!

We stayed in this lovely property, perfectly located in Blue Mountain neighborhood. We came in to celebrate our daughter's wonderful accomplishment (and a few of her friends) of graduating from Auburn. This was the perfect place! There was plenty of room. We ordered takeout and ate on the patio and at the roomy dining table. We walked, with masks, to restaurants to pick up some excellent food. We walked to the beach and were able to socially distance and enjoy the sun and sunsets. The very helpful underground parking was greatly appreciated. We visited other villages, during our stay, concerned no one seemed to be in masks but it didn't stop us from wearing ours. The condo was comfortable, roomy and had all of the amenities for a family. It was very clean we felt safe that it was sanitized, we felt very comfortable. Hollie and Joy were helpful in answering our questions before the trip, and everything went well. We would come back to this place!!
