Spring Break 2025

This was a fun cottage to stay in for our trip. The screened porch is amazing and I was able to sit on the porch and listen to the Sunday services at the Chapel. The location is fantastic and we were able to walk to the square every day. We will definitely see y'all next year!

A Location Dream

We were greeted when we arrived and given a tour of the cottage. We loved the layout, with the bedrooms downstairs. We have a senior dog and we could limit the times she had to do the stairs. We walked to everything. Restaurants, shopping, the beach etc. The cottage was clean and had everything we could want or need. Great communication with host. Would highly recommend and definitely go again.

Wonderful location and great space

This Little Lodge is charming and a perfect home base for an idyllic week in Seaside. The space is functional and location perfect. They had two beach chairs, an umbrella, and sand toys. Great vacation - we will be back.

Steps away from a beautiful park setting and an easy walk to the beach and pool, it is the perfect place to relax.

Seaside vacation

Location was great and it was a fun place for teens. Expensive resort and the $500+ VBRO booking fee was not expected. Overall a great experience but too expensive a vacation for us to return.

Great Management

The Homeowners Collection is awesome. When we arrived, there was an adorable beach tote and welcome kit waiting for us, and during our stay, they even hosted a cocktail reception with hors d'oeuvres and live music. You usually don’t get this sort of care and attention from a property management company. Our cottage was also clean and updated with everything we needed.

One sheet and blanket were just a bit too cold. Also checkin is an hour later and check out an hour earlier than other rentals if that is important to your stay.

Nice location

The house was pet friendly which we wanted and was located near the seaside restaurants, shops, etc. The setup of the house was a little more difficult with the kitchen /living area upstairs and having an infant to carry up the stairs multiple times a day was tough. The TVs were fine and the bathrooms were nice. The house description said it could sleep 6 ..so glad we only had 4 adults. I think it would have been a crowd if we’d had 6 adults. Oversell we had a nice long weekend.

Perfect home for our family

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had the best time at seaside and Little Lodge was perfect for our family! This unique home, was our safe heaven in the evenings! Kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed, beds were comfortable, and layout was so unique. Outside walkway and shower were perfect for storing items after beach trip and shower to rinse off the sand. Our pup made himself right at home. We will definitely be back. Owners of the home were very friendly and told us the beautiful history of this home.

Dirt and Stains on Bedding

I don't think the cleaners washed ALL the bedding. There was dirt and other stains on the bedding and pillow shams. I didn't like that! We had to wash everything prior to sleeping.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Years ago we stayed in Little Lodge several times through the original owners. We have begun traveling with our dog so noticed new owners have Little Lodge as dog friendly, so we wanted to give it a go and it did not disappoint! Newish appliances, furniture and paint job gave it a nice refresh. I like getting up early and opening up all the windows on the second floor, the entire living area seemed like one big porch! Awesome location, loved walking through Ruskin Place to get to the center of town. Had a wonderful visit, no problems!

Great location

This is a very nice, clean property with unique architectural touches. My kids loved the location! So close to all of the activities! Please note this property has access to seaside pools - NOT WATERCOLOR. Thank goodness (my mistake) we had friends with extra wristbands to get into that pool. The bikes are a voucher provided to go rent yourself- the bikes do not stay at the property. Also so grateful to bring my fur baby- please not the yard is not enclosed. Overall very nice property. Also note the two bedrooms are downstairs and the kitchen / living area with pullout couch are upstairs. This was fine for our family, but just want others to know if they are traveling with younger kids the stairs may be and issue. Thank you so much, we loved staying here.

Little Lodge Review

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The rental was clean but we had some issues with the house. In both downstairs bathrooms, the floors were loose and breaking into pieces. The grout was breaking off all over the floor just by walking on them. Our upstairs toilet was also clogged as soon as we arrived and overflowed with the first use. One of the downstairs showers also leaked so badly that we could not use it. Other than that, we enjoyed our visit and the location was great.

Weird house

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: While there is nothing really wrong with this house, the layout is just odd with the two bedrooms off the main floor, that are really just feel like bedrooms in a closet. There were several items that need maintenance. The shades didn’t work in one of the bedrooms when the switch was turned on. One bathroom had a very loose shower door handle and shower light was out. Thwre should be a bench or something in the long patio area on the first floor. While the upstairs is fine, it is just not a comfortable home and we would not stay there again.
