“We take an annual trip to Santee every year and stay at Canal Lakes. We decided to try somewhere different this year but close to Canal Lakes. This did not disappoint. We will continue to come from now on out. House was clean, comfortable, and easy to access. Kenneth was easy to work with and super friendly. “I would have given 5 stars, but there was a used bar of soap in the shower that makes you think it wasn't clean. Also, how often are the blankets washed since you have to make the beds back before you leave. Why is there a host fee when guests have to clean everything or be charged an additional fee. I understand not leaving a mess and never would, but for what it costs to stay, with all fees, guest shouldn't feel like or think that the place hasnt been properly cleaned and sanitized between……

“Went on a fishing weekend with my son and found this place to be absolutely perfect. Good location to meet fishing guides, golf courses around. “Great location on lake. Good access to fishing and family boat rides. House very clean and private with fully gated property. Beds slept well and good cooking products to use. If only one negative is pantry storage for big family for a week there is none. Had to leave our storage bins under table for non perishable food but 2 refrigerators was nice touch. Beautiful and quiet location and neighbors seem very friendly. Thanks for the use of you home”

"The front desk just give me a room without cleaning. The tip from last customer still there and the stuff on the bed is in a mess. Garbage can is full. They change a new one for me and definitely delayed my time for sleeping since I had driven for 8 hours from New York there to have a good rest and then to start keeping driving to Florida next morning. By the way, it says $16 for the breakfast on EXPEDIA but they charge me $30 for the breakfast at the front desk later. Everything is in disorder."
