“BomBom is simply magical. The natural beauty is unrivaled only by the friendliness and kindness of the staff. Coming from the US without any Portuguese speaking skills was scary but the people here made it comfortable immediately. Would give BomBom 100 out of 100 stars!”

“Pros: Room is very spacious and clean. Common areas also nice and generally I enjoyed a quiet atmosphere. Staff is nice, food is good. Cons: They did not honor the complementary airport transfer that is announced on line, they arranged a private taxi that charged me 20 US Dollars (for a 4 minute ride). The quality of bed linens and towels is not great, they should improve them. The one day I used the pool, which is big and pretty, the water was not clean. ”

“We had a great stay at Pestana. I must admit, it did not stat well. We stayed on south of Sao Tome and a day before our booking, I called the hotel to ask if they have a free boat transfer for guests. The very unfriendly person on the phone told us to be at the dock at 10am. We came to the dock, boarded the boat and after arrival they wanted us to pay 42 EUR for it. We protested as we understood it was free We would take a private boat transfer from out resort to the island if we would know we……

“Staff was very friendly and courteous and happily answered all questions. I wanted to do a small hike on my first day and instead of trying to sell me one of their guided tours they suggested one I could do without a guide, a very nice change of pace compared to other place where profit drives everything. I did use their guide for a cultural tour around Principe and it was quite good too, the only minor complaint was that the guide struggled a bit with English so information were partly in……
