Rooms were clean, comfortable and quite spacious for Japan rooms. My family enjoyed using the gym for early morning workouts and our friends made good us of the hotel washing machines. Having a separate elevator to get to the lobby and the hotel rooms was at times bothersome, since it took longer, but I appreciated the safety and protection for hotel guests. The hotel location was convenient—close to subway, lots of shopping and assorted eateries available in walking distance!

Property was block & a half from the subway station & the subway station was just two stops from Sapporo Train Station & one stop away from Odori Park. There’s a convenience store next door & plenty of restaurants nearby. The Ramen Alley was just a block & a half away.

Property located 2 stops on Subway from Sapporo Station. Great selection of eating options around the hotel. Room was on the small side - shower over a bath but terrible shower head - a jet of water and not adjustable Very limited amenities.

AK Sapporo

Booked a queen room, bed felt small (2 white people) and mattress was too soft for my liking. Carpet was green and always looked a bit dirty, but everything seemed perfectly clean. Air conditioning was turned off for winter Central heating and the room would get uncomfortablly warm. The manual operating window helped a little bit. Soap products were very nice in the bathroom. Buffet breakfast was very good. It appeared to have a 3 day rotation. Basics like bacon, eggs fruit and pancakes, and some fun stuff like Genghis Khan and cabbage which I loved. Croquettes were also amazing. Had to come after 845a as the buffet is slam packed. Likely from tour groups. Reception was absolutely phenomenal. They were very helpful and forwarded my luggage to my next hotel for me.

The lighting was too dark in the room. Especially in the bathroom, the lightling was too dim and had yellow tint, which made putting on make up needlessly difficult.
