"The Petra Nera is in a great location. Near a good selection of walkable tavernas, on the bus route, 2 min walk from the hotel. The hotel itself is on a steep slope but it employs two drivers who will take you up and down if you need it, from 8am to 12midnight. There is a small pool and nice pool bar. The pool villas are wonderful and well worth it, comfy beds and fabulous sunbed. Breakfast is not bad, repetitive and limited but ok. Nice touch there is a barista making coffees to order."
"The hotel is situated on the side of a hill which offers great panoramic views across the bay. There are quite a number of steps if you are walking from the pool or bar and restaurant area so may not be suited with those with accessibility needs.
We had a room which also included a shared pool with an adjoining appointment. The room itself was nice, It was clean and comfortable. The children were sleeping on the mezzanine above us which worked well however had caution younger children using this because the steps and ladders are very steep.
The staff across the complex in particular the restaurants and bar staff were fantastic.
Food at the restaurant was great and we ate there a couple of times, including the barbecue. Breakfast was a little disappointing as there wasn’t that much choice in terms of hot food.
Would recommend walking into the restaurants and bars at the bottom of the hill as you come out of the hotel. Pork and roll specifically was one of our favourites.
The beach is a 15 minute walk from the hotel down quite a steep path, again those with accessibility may struggle. It’s a nice beach though once you get down though."
"We had a great stay at Mandraki Village. So many stunning beaches are walkable from the hotel. The rooms are great, the beds very comfortable and lots of amenities. A large pool and great bar/restaurant. It’s a very beautiful resort and very family friendly. As wonderful as the place is, it’s the staff that truly make this experience what it is. Miranda took every opportunity to go out of her way to make our stay the fabulous trip that it was."
"I really do not recommend this particular Hotel. There was nothing but lies on the advertisement. They had stated that there was a bar, there was no bar. They stated that there was breakfast available, no breakfast available. They also stated that there was shuttle service available, I asked no shuttle service. The room was fabulous the place not so much. The man was very discriminatory and disrespectful. I won’t even go into the beach because those pictures are not true either. I want to say the only good thing about this place was the room and the view."
"As an American family of four, we found the Elivi Skiathos to be a phenomenal resort. From the amazing property - all with breathtaking views, to the several beach/pool options, scrumptious food and extremely helpful staff, the Elivi easily became a family favorite resort destination."
"Beautiful views of the sea. Great atmosphere created by the owners ( 2 sets of brothers) who leave no stone u turned to please. Excellent experience I highly recommend. "
"Everybody at Skiathos Island Suites were so very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Nothing was a problem for them.
My wife has a wheat intolerance and is therefore unable to eat pastries or bread. All her breakfasts were prepared specifically to suit her.
Thank you to all the staff for a truly superb holiday."
