"It was very remote and so not convenient, but would be great for someone wanting a remote, quiet stay. We were visiting Marietta to visit a relative in a nursing home, so the commute was a little challenging."

"This little cabin is amazing. The peace and quiet were exactly what I needed. The views of the sunrise/sunset, and listening to the night life ( frogs, coyotes, etc) was relaxing. Inside the cabin, everything appears new, the kitchen is stocked with everything a cook could need. The bed was very comfortable, and the large living space was more than adequate.If you like to fish, take a fishing pole, the pond has bluegill, and, supposedly, bass. Might be a little out of the way, but its well worth it."

"I was disappointed in the room which was suppose to have walk-in shower. Ran out of hot water in the evening. Was supposed to be for handicap yet the toilet was low Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was nice variety but don’t know that I will stay there again."

"Unfortunately, the age of this motel is showing to the extreme. Bed was lumpy at best, no place to put a suitcase except the floor or bed, no Kleenex. I feel badly for owners that do not have the funds to improve or update their property."

"The kitchen is fully stocked, and the entire place is very clean. The peace amd serenity I experienced here were just what I needed after a few trying months. Pet friendly, my dog was in heaven with the pond and acreage to run. This hidden gem is just that, a gem. A little slice of heaven. Do pay attention, and bring food, as its at least 30 minutes to a store. "
