"We loved this hotel. The facility is beautifully restored and the rooms are spacious, graciously appointed and have modern baths. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Sylvia gave us a wonderful tour of the entire palace and provided historically accurate details around the town and the palace. Christina was particularly helpful as we had a medical emergency and she went above and beyond to help us. Overall I would highly recommend stopping here on your trip through Tuscany and Umbria. "

"The room has excellent views in a space that oozes character. The shared spaces and rooftop terrace were a very cool added bonus. We stayed in the blue suite and found it spacious and comfortable. The only slight issue was a faint odor coming from the second bedroom. We didn’t use that room and closing the door solved the problem for the rest of the suite, but it is worth noting. I know some people will complain that it is on the third floor and there is no lift, but frankly if this is an issue...

"I made a reservation with the information that it was 14km away from Saturnia at the time of booking, and the Resort and Saturni were 35km. Also, the mattress of the bed felt a spring in my body and could not sleep easily. When I got out, I could not clean my room."

"Amazing small countryside hotel in Tuscany, a medieval 14th century castle like setting with 15 rooms, pool, and small lounge, friendly staff, with limited services, but wifi/ac worked, pool area was nice, as was the grounds, just off autostrata, minutes to grocery, casual dining, outlet mall and the views were of the stunning Tuscan countryside and mountain towns. If windows open, you would hear some traffic noise, but if closed it was peaceful, our only negative was the sign for the La Pia...

Het appartement zelf is redelijk ruim opgezet, maar wel erg donker. Ook vond ik het niet erg schoon op diverse plaatsen (veel spinraggen). Er was geen ongedierte. De keuken voldeed. Bedden waren redelijk goed. Je moest wel een linnenpakket meenemen of huren. Er is geen airco, maar dat was niet nodig door de hoge plafonds. Je kon erg aardig...

"Our stay at Villa Podere Belvedere was just wonderful. Our family had the most relaxing time at the Villa, enjoying morning walks in the picturesque country side, lovely lunches by the pool and driving to the many charming Towns in the area all contributed to a wonderful stay. My only negative comment is that it would have been helpful if we had been informed that absolutely no household cleaning products or catering supplies would be provided, we could have brought these items with us. "Lovely property in a fantastic location far from the Madding Crowd, not that we found a crowd anywhere we visited. The only problem we encountered was the aggressive mosquitoes which stopped us using the pool. Other than that it was a great week away."
