We both had an excellent experience staying in this Magnificent Hotel, such a great setting, most interesting Castle. The Dinner had a good selection of dishes and the food was delicious and well presented. The Continental Breakfast very good too. The Staff were so Friendly and helpful. Wish we could have stayed more than just 1 night.

Lovely overnight stay

Lovely stay, We stayed after arriving on Portsmouth-Santander ferry at 19:00 CET, and driving to hotel in under two hours for a one night stop. Everything was excellent, except for the receptionist being a bit confused about us having paid in advance. Dinner and room were both excellent. Breakfast was also fine. Parking very easy. Lovely ambience.
