Staff are friendly but lady at check out very grumpy and sour. A Smile Would go a Long way. Not sure how staff working in a hotel aren’t taught this. Room somewhat basic and lots of dust behind furniture - disgusting. House keeping should know to move tables to clean behind. Again this is basic. On the plus side on the beach...

"the owners of the property could not do enough and were must charming. Carlo and Paola work so terribly hard but always ready to talk and smile with the guests. It is very much a family hotel with the gentle Nonna always about to help if she can. But to the main reason this hotel was chosen was because of Carlo's wonderful cooking. "This is a beautiful hotel very close to the train station. Beautiful old marble, wood and iron in the grand entry. They really made the atrium and breakfast area into something special. There are beautiful wood parquet floors in the rooms. Plenty of towels, robes, slippers provided. Wonderful tea/coffee service set up in the rooms. Amazing breakfast, worth the money. Old but well kept. "
