“My wife and I along with my parents had a nice weekend getaway. Very quiet and relaxing. Used the grill to grill burgers and kitchen for morning breakfast. Bring your own KCups for coffee. Really nice getaway. Everything went really smooth. And if you like to eat out lots in the area. We ate at Majerle's Black River Grill and enjoyed it.”

“I needed time away for myself. I was feeling burned out at work and there was just a lot of stress in my life. I know I wanted space to think, read, write and be at one with nature. The Pond Cottage was just what I needed. It was cozy, quaint, clean, well maintained and just watching and listening to the waves was so relaxing and reparative. The pictures don't do it justice. The screened in porch was the perfect space. Walks along the beach and on the country roads were so nice to get close to……

“My wife and I were looking for a place to get away from the hustle and bustle of our working lives. We found the perfect place, a “Tranquil Cottage in the Woods with Lake Michigan only 300 feet away.” The perfect combination of the beautiful woods and the lapping/crashing waves of Lake Michigan gave us a relaxing weekend. The cottage was immaculately clean and well furnished. We highly recommend this home away from home.”

“Regularly my group uses this location for our supervisor teambuiling training. The space provides an area to share meals, hold training, sleep and socialize. The host is available whenever needed. The home is clean and has all the amenities you can think of. In fact, the game room lets us be a kid again! Great location and space!”

“This property lives up to its photographs and description! No "fish eye" lens views! Spacious lodging with room to walk around each bed, table, furniture. Lodging is very secure with locking systems in place. We were greeted warmly by Janice who explained a variety of aspects of the property including locking/unlocking, and local eateries. Time and talent have worked together to create a stylish, but not stuffy lodging spot. Kitchen is the best supplied we've ever experienced. Thank you so very……
