There is an outdoor kitchen with all the basics for cooking a meal. The place is a little hard to find but our host Edward and Ruth met with us and led us to the cabin. "Our family with a mix of Canadians and Ticos had the BEST time at Casa Cielo Rojo. House and property are gorgeous and Matt was an outstanding host!! Beautiful tropical landscaping and views of both mountains and ocean (at a distance) were highlights… stars were incredible at night!! House and casita are beautifully decorated and made the perfect location for our family meals… Location was super convenient to explore many beaches - with a little bit of a drive. "The experience my family and I had at Shana was exceptional from check-in through the check out. They treated us like VIP guests The rooms were super comfortable and spacious for our group of 5. Breakfast was quite an experience, surrounded by so much nature, beautiful views, and accompanied by white-faced monkeys, a delicious omelet station, tropical fruits, wonderful coffee, a 5-star service; Yasmin welcoming us at the restaurant, Javier who greeted us every morning with his smile and kindness, bringing our coffee, tea, and even recommendations for places we should visit during our stay. As for the Spa, I want to mention that I recommend Abigail 100%, very professional. The hotel has 2 pools, one just for adults and the other one for families. Overall, I loved Shana by the Beach, hope we can go back soon!!!!"
