「Katy the owner was so friendly as well her dog Butler. Beautiful river which is easy access from the cabins. Our stay was short due to other committments during the day but by night it was so peaceful. We bonded because of no wi-fi which was great not having kids or us on technology. Different experience for us from our normal hotel/motel stay but we loved it. 」

「Yes, to both questions. The proprietors were very welcoming and helpful. They lent us a good torch to help navigate the path from the gate to our cabin when it was dark. On our last night there was a huge electrical storm and the proprietor came out in heavy rain to assist us with his umbrella.」

「If you're looking for a place to stay at south stradbroke, this is the place. Much cheaper prices for groups than booking directly through the resort whilst also being very spacious and accommodating. The host generously supplied a few bicycles free of charge to assist in movement around the island. The check in process was easy and the communication was more than sufficient.」

「We were off the grid far enough to remind us of back home in NZ. We were greeted by the local wildlife which stuck around for our entire stay. Was peaceful, relaxing and our hosts Tracy and Steve were amazing. Breakfast was amaaaazing and all prepped with loving care which made it taste sweeter and arrived with the rustic pioneer look which made us feel like we were actually in the pioneer days.
