"Urban Yard Hotel is a great choice if you’re arriving via Brussels Midi – it’s just a short walk away and very easy to find. The hotel itself was spotlessly clean, and the staff were super friendly and welcoming throughout my stay.
The room was a decent size, with a comfortable bed and a nice touch: a coffee machine. While the breakfast was quite average in terms of variety and quality, it’s an optional extra, so not a dealbreaker if you prefer to eat out.
Overall, I had a very pleasant experience and would definitely stay here again."
"No complaints about my stay here. Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was comfy and clean. Good breakfast on offer. The location is great - walking distance to train/bus/metro stations and close to all the sights. Worth noting, room also had air con. "
"The hotel itself is fantastic. The rooms are spacious, the carpets are plush and clean, the bathroom was large, the beds were comfortable and the AC worked well. The staff were welcoming and spoke a variety of languages fluently. The bartender, Folios, gave us lots of suggestions for food and places to go. He went out of his way to make us feel welcome. The hotel is located directly across the street from the Brussels Midi station, which is very convenient. However, the area where the hotel is located is very dirty and unsafe at night. We never had any issues with being accosted or harassed, and did notice a strong police presence in the train station, which was comforting. We only traveled around the area between 8am-7pm. We didn't feel comfortable traveling later than that. We have always had good experiences staying at Radisson properties, so it's a shame that such a nice hotel is stuck in a lousy area."
"Staff were very welcoming. Room was amazing. It was on the 5th floor so had amazing views. Air conditioning was a bonus as it was 29/30 degrees outside. Very clean and toiletries supplied with towels and slippers. Breakfast was included too which was delicious and luggage storage on day of departure. All round great experience. "
