There was no secure parking for my motorcycle. I tried on multiple times to phone the hotel . The number on the notice board and the one hotel.com gave me wasn’t working. "This is THE BEST place i have ever stayed! The staff made us feel like VIPs from the moment we got there until the time we left. The rooms in the castle are incredible with modern conveniences and an old castle feel! The food and wine at the restaurant was delicious and the views from the restaurant are stunning! "While booking a place for a night close to the highway, I failed to notice there’s no reception. You’re supposed to send an ID copy in advance and get a key code. I noticed this only at the door and had to look for a number to call. The guy was helpful though and just recited the code on the phone. The pros of this place are low price (€55 for a single bed) and location at the gate of a quaint little castle town. While there’s no restaurant, there is a decent pizzeria on the shore less than 1km...

The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious with a great variety of options. What truly stood out, though, was the exceptional service. After I checked out, I realized I had left the ear pieces of my AirPods behind. I contacted the hotel, and to my relief, they quickly located them. Not only that, but they carefully wrapped them in bubble wrap and mailed them all the way to my home in the U.S. I truly appreciated their prompt and considerate response—it went above and beyond what I expected. This level of care and thoughtfulness is rare and truly appreciated. Thank you to the wonderful staff for making my stay not only enjoyable, but also memorable!!"
