We built and designed our new, incredibly cosy holiday home ourselves with lots of love and passion in our old barn. The spacious terrace and the cosy, fenced-in garden are perfect for barbecuing and relaxing.
We offer you an unforgettable stay, far away from the stress of everyday life, and sweeten your breakfast with homemade honey from the neighbouring farm, homemade jam, and fresh eggs from our happy chickens :)
A small area store with a bakery and butcher shop awaits our guests in the neighbouring village.
For all mushroom lovers and foragers: During the fall months, our forests turn into a true mushroom paradise.
Our guests are welcome to join herb walks in the spring and mushroom walks in the fall.
Just like the Smurf Village, Reichmannshausen is nestled amid idyllic forests, surrounded by beautiful forest and hiking trails, in the heart of Lower Franconia, yet centrally located between the Röhn, Spessart, Franconian Switzerland, Thuringian Forest, and Steigerwald—making it the perfect base for varied day trips.

* Our personal top pick is the beautiful “Ellertshäuser
Swimming Lake”—named the third most beautiful swimming lake in Franconia—which is just a stone’s throw away. It has
two gorgeous, partly newly landscaped large sunbathing areas
with a sandy beach section and many smaller coves
with separate piers, as well as a large playground.
The dining area, with plenty of cosy
seating in a pleasant atmosphere right on the shore
, invites you to linger and enjoy yourself.
A pedal boat rental is also available on site.
By bike or on foot along an idyllic forest path
, it’s only about 4 km to the first sunbathing area.
By car, you can reach the central, free
car park in about 7 km.
* An absolute must-see: The Schweinfurt Wildlife Park—named
the most beautiful wildlife park in Franconia!!

* For our younger guests, a visit to the
“Märchenwald Sambachshof” with lots of small
rides is well worth it—it’s about a 20-minute drive away.
* For older children, Freizeitland Geiselwind is about a 40-minute
drive away.
* You can also reach the treetop trail in the Steigerwald in about 40 minutes by car.
* There’s plenty to do on the “Wasserkuppe” in the Röhn in the summer, just as there is
in the winter. Whether it’s hiking,
sledding, skiing, or simply watching the paragliders
, there’s something for everyone.
* And since we’re in the Röhn region, a visit to
the Kreuzberg is a must.
* All around the area, there are many beautiful little towns, such as
Bamberg, Coburg, Würzburg, or Lichtenfels, with an
enchanting
old town and many castles, monasteries, and churches—like
Vierzehnheiligen.
* Countless beer gardens serving house-brewed beer and Franconian
specialities invite you to visit
* Since we’re located right between the Röhn, Spessart, Thuringian Forest,
Steigerwald, and Franconian Switzerland,

* Final cleaning (per stay): 50 EUR
* Security deposit (per stay):
200 EUR in cash upon check-in (fully refundable
upon damage-free departure)

Minimum stay of two nights.
During the Christmas and New Year’s Eve season, the rental rate per 2 people per night is: 100 EUR instead of 85 EUR
As a small business owner within the meaning of Section 19(1) of the German Value-Added Tax Act (UStG), no sales tax is charged.
Payment terms:
* Deposit: 30% of the total price upon receipt of the booking confirmation
* Balance due: The remaining 70% is due 21 days before
arrival
* 200 EUR security deposit in cash upon check-in
Cancellation Policy:
14 days before check-in: 100% refund
7–14 days before check-in: 50% refund
