"James provided good communication. The place had good amenities and entertainment options with games and a fireplace. There was ample space for 4 with 2 bedrooms, a kitchen and living room. It is a little dated but serviceable. Some parts needed a bit more cleaning, but overall it was useable. It was also cold on our arrival, but we turned on the registers, settled in a bit and then went out for dinner. When we returned it was warm and welcoming after a rainy windy day outside."

"The indifference of the operator.......we were given an address but house numbers in Tobermoy are erratic thus to give 61 Main Street was hardly why not add 'opposurte the Cafe Fish'? And when we telephoned no one answered. In the flat the first cupboard's handle came off in our hand, the clock did not work for want of a battery and the bathroom light flickered non-stop. "Room or hut was small but fine for 1 person. Two people would be tight. View was fantastic. Food was excellent. Great breakfast menu. A lot of uphill walks to huts but most visitors are there on Isle of Skye to hike. It was expensive but Scotland seemed expensive to me."

"Lovely setting. Folks who have difficulty walking would have major trouble here. I was disappointed in some of the food. I was very disappointed that we could not access the pool when we wanted to. Great for the community kids, but definitely should not be listed as a hotel amenity."

"We arrived late, they were just about to wrap up serving dinner. Manager said just sit at the bar - have a drink and eat your dinner first then we will take care of the luggages. They took our order and served us delicious steaks, wine and then helped us with our luggage. They did all this smoothly and naturally, which made us feel very welcomed. Breakfast was great, not elaborately large spread, but enough of each category to meet our 10 veggie and protein intake targets effortlessly and delicately. Overall we couldn’t be happier and left very satisfied with the service, food and our clean, large cottage. If we come back to Highland Scotland we will definitely stay here again and recommend it to everyone also."

"We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful hotel. The setting is spectacular, the views are incredible, and the grounds are lovely. We really enjoyed taking the time to explore the property. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and very well appointed. We especially appreciated the unlimited water, hot chocolate, tea, and Nespresso pods. The bed was extremely comfortable, the shower was wonderful, and having electrical outlets on every wall was surprisingly convenient. The food in the restaurant was delicious, and the breakfast could not have been better. The staff truly made our stay special. Everyone was friendly and attentive, but we would particularly like to mention Cat and Frazier at the front desk. They were exceptionally welcoming, accommodating, and always happy to help with anything we needed. The magnificent setting, comfortable accommodations, excellent food, and outstanding staff made this a truly memorable stay. We would gladly recommend this hotel."
