Fantastic location

What a gem

I’m still picking my jaw up off the ground after staying here. The location is unreal! Deb is an excellent communicator and the cleanliness of the accommodation is top notch. We will be back again and again.

Home away from home

Our third stay at Wavebreaker, this time for five nights in mid August. Love the tranquility, the views over the ocean, the whale spotting, walks along the beach, the village atmosphere where you can stroll down to get a good coffee, shop for dinner or relax over a casual lunch in the cafe. But most of all we enjoy Debra's caring hospitality, her comfortable and well appointed accommodation and knowledge of the area. Thanks again for an enjoyable stay.

Spectacular View of the ocean. The hosts were friendly and went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic stay. They even dropped off fresh fruit and baked goods, such a lovely surprise. The property overlooked the gorgeous Scott's Head coastline. Beach and cafes were an easy stroll. Everything was convenient and easy.

Views For The Memory

We had a wonderful stay over looking a beautiful beach while having the ability to watch whales all day until dark. It is a beautifully presnted property and very suitable for couples. We even had fresh warm bread delivered that was delicious. We had the best time in Scotts Head and Karen and I will be back staying at the Wavebreaker again. Fantastic spot, couldn't ask for more.

We had a fantastic stay. The unit is literally 2 minutes walk to the beach and about 5 mins to the cafe and shops. Debra was great to deal with, very friendly and helpful. She even baked us bread and cookies! The place was clean and comfortable with everything we needed including kitchen and laundry. We would definitely recommend the unit for any single or couple wanting a quiet, cozy and comfortable get away.

Weekend away in Scotts Head

We booked this studio for a weekend away, and were thoroughly delighted by all aspects of it. The owner communicated with us really well, and we loved the extra touches around the apartments like chocolates, drinks and snacks. The apartment was extremely comfortable with an excellent bathroom, which included things like a heated towel rail and washer/dryer. The view over the beach and ocean was superb and the location is excellent, with walks nearby and a short stroll to local cafes and beaches and the Club. We will definitely book again.

Full ocean view and close to the beach

Well positioned unit with ocean views and very close to the beach. Interior setup of the apartment could have been more convenient. TV was only viewable from the bed but could be easily relocated so it could be viewed from both the lounge and the bed.

Most beautiful get away in Wave-breaker !

Stayed at the Wavebreaker with my partner for a romantic get away and was looked after so well by Debra the lovely host. Woke up to brownies on Valentine’s Day (even catered to diary requirements) and then again following days with other treats. Very clean and airy little place with classic Scott’s head beach views to wake up to each morning :) Loved coming back to our little place after our adventures. The place had absolutely everything you need Can’t wait to come back here in the future and know I’ll be looked after perfectly !! Can’t recommend enough. Pleasant, peaceful and relaxing

Top Quality Studio

This studio apartment is beautifully appointed with all modern appliances and finishes throughout. The appartment is on the bottom floor of a larger house. The bed was comfy with nice Sheridin sheets and array of different types of pillows to use. I did not hear or notice any people in the house above and the stay was super peaceful with the spectacular sea views.

Just beautiful!

We went for a short getaway. The studio is incredibly well appointed with everything you might need and then some. Debra is a wonderful and super friendly host who clearly loves providing her guests with an exceptional experience (I will let you work out for yourself what her thoughtful touches are). We sat on the porch looking at whales breeching and splashing, as well as dolphins playing in the shallows. It was magical. There is easy access to the beach, to walks and to the local supermarket, which is really well provisioned. A great place to relax and unwind and just be. We will definitely be back!

Scott's Head

The property is fine for a day or two but I wouldn't recommend a longer stay. We didn't like the flannellette sheets. They made the bed too hot and uncomfortable for sleeping. We were reluctant to use the column heater as it was old and rusty. The host was very welckming a d friendly.

Return to a special place

This was our second stay at this lovely location right on the beach front at Scotts Head. Debra was a welcoming and generous host, readily available to provide information about the local area and activities but also respectful of our privacy. We enjoyed watching the surfers and passing whales from the balcony, the beautiful sun rises each morning from the comfort of our bed, the long walks along the beach and clifftops and the short stroll down the hill for coffee, lunch at the local cafe or to shop for dinner in the well appointed kitchen with full cooking facilities. Great to have access to washing machine and drier in the unit also. Parking is available on the street but we were able to leave our car on the lawn nature strip in front of the property. Scotts Head is a beautiful and lay back community and location.
