Extremely friendly hosts in very nice Engadine

We had a standard double room with balcony furnished in alpine-style. It was clean, bright and comfortable. The exceedingly friendly and hard-working hosts provide the real plus in staying here, however, with great service in all regards. The included breakfast was very good, and taking some of the food to make your picnic lunch was encouraged with plastic bags made available. Although not officially part of a hotel review, I can say that dinner at the hotel was excellent.

A warm welcome in a beautiful mountain village

We received a very personal and friendly welcome during our time at this hotel. The room was very quiet and we slept very well. The breakfast had a good, tasty selection and the views of the mountains were beautiful.

Der perfekte Empfang

Wir suchten ein einfaches sauberes Hotel in der Nähe von Zernez. Der Empfang war sehr herzlich :-) Das Zimmer war sehr sauber, das Mobiliar etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Dafür war das Tablet eine Überraschung. Auch das Restaurant ist sehr zu empfehlen! Für uns wars genau was wir suchten.

Gutes Hotel an der Bahnlinie nach Schuls

Das Hotel Altvetern in Arez liegt an der Bahnlinie nach Schuls (Halt auf Verlangen). Mindestens stündlich fahren die Züge nach Schuls oder Richtung Landquart. Auch stündlich fahren die Züge ins Oberengadin. Dieses Hotel liegt hervorragend für Wanderungen in wunderschöne andere Dörfer im Unterengadin. In knapp 2 Stunden erreicht man zu Fuss Ftan oder in der anderen Richtung Guarda. Das Hotel wird von einem Ehepaar liebevoll geführt und gekocht wird sehr lecker. Auch für Familien ist es sehr gut geeignet.

A really good find

Owner and staff really helpful and friendly. We had traditional local food for dinner and wine reasonably priced. Breakfast buffet was excellent and they even provided water/bags/snacks so you could take packed sandwich for lunch on your hike. We had a basic room ( last minute cancellation) but comfortable bed, very clean and adequate. The surrounding area is stunning.

Sensationeller Aufenthalt! Gerne wieder!

Herzliche Begrüssung durch Herr Schorta. Sogar ein Frühstück wurde um 4:30 für alle Teilnehmer am Engadin Radmarathon bereitgestellt. Das Abendessen war super und wir konnten sogar unsere Getränke für einen Verdauungspaziergang zur Burgruine machen und anschliessend noch das Dessert geniessen. Wir kommen also sehr gerne wieder!

Tolles Hotel am Ortsanfang von Ardez.

Wenn man am Innradweg den Aufstieg nach Guarda geschafft hat und nach einer tollen Abfahrt gleicch das Hotel Alvetern ins Blickfeld rückt, ist man erleichtert. Hervorragend finden wir die Herzlichkeit, mit der wir vom Chef des Hauses empfangen wurden, das Service, die nette Beratung für die Weiterfahrt. Wenn wir wieder einmal ins Engadin kommen, werden wir sicher wieder im Alvetern Rast machen. Absolut empfehlenswert!

朝食ブッフェの内容が素晴らしい

Ardez駅より徒歩で１０分程度であるが、無料の送迎あるので、大きな荷物があったが便利。ホテルにはエレベーターが無かったが、気持ち良く、荷物を部屋に運ぶのを助けてくれた。その事も含めて、ホテルは家族経営だと思うが、皆、親切で効率的。又、ホテル代込みの朝食はハム、チーズ類の豊富さも含めて、手作りジャム、ヨーグルト、ゆで卵、そして、極めて美味しい色々の種類のパン、等々、言うことなし。又、朝食の場所にはサランラップとビニールの袋が備えられており、昼食用にサンドイッチを作って持ち出すことを奨励している。ハイキングに行く際に、とても助かった。

For category B & B is a very nice hotel. In it all thought out and comfortable for the active traveler who returns to it only in the evening. I'm a such traveler indeed and I had no claims to the owners and staff. But perhaps the hotel has additional amenities to do not get bored the travelers and in the afternoon . It features a library, a terrace area, a tea lounge with access to TV and the computer. And there is magnificent view of the mountains and the castle yet:)

Hoher Schweizer Standard in kleinem Dorf

Wir haben das Hotel im Rahmen einer Bike-Tour durchs Engadin gebucht und etwas günstiges gesucht. Wir waren überrascht von der echten Freundlichkeit und dem hohen Standard des Hauses.
