The perfect big house for our Thanksgiving weekend

Our 2 daughters, 2 grandchildren and 2 dogs shared a lovely weekend at Sea Ranch. The perfect location at the Gualala end of Sea Ranch with wonderful walks, great views.

Great place and dog friendly

Great house! We loved the house, quiet location, view, and hot tub! Great place for dogs too. Comfortable yet clean. Easy walk to the path that goes along the cliffs for miles. We would definitely stay here again.

Sunshine and Views with easy bluff trail access.

Love the locations and the large indoor/outdoor common spaces! Proximity and access to the bluff trail at this house are excellent. Many Sea Ranch rentals that have that quirky, lived in feel. This rental is bit more modern adn feels a bit hollow, albeit clean and still beautiful.

Del Mar Meadow

The house was spacious and beautiful. Our family of six adults could have private space or together time comfortably. The view is amazing. Couldn’t have been better.

Could be great….

But the house is in need of major top to bottom maintenance as others have noted and still not done. Overall the house is comfortable and the kitchen is quite well equipped.

Perfect sea Ranch house with quality furnishings

This was the perfect house for our weekend with friends and kids. The kitchen is very well equipped, and all of the furnishings are very high-quality. It definitely feels like a house that people have lived in. The beds are very comfortable and the views are absolutely spectacular. Only downside is we didn’t have masks and there were no blackout curtains in the beautiful big bedroom. We would definitely go back.

Fabulous house

A group of seven Mums got together in this house to celebrate a friends' birthday. We had the perfect time. Well equipped kitchen for meals in, cosy fires and a TV for wet/cold weather, walks on the doorstep down to the beaches and cliffs and within ten minute drive of Sea Ranch Lodge for coffees or cocktails! Not to mention the hot tub for sun sets. It was just what we all needed, thank you

Great Sea Ranch home

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect for a Sea Ranch get away. As for the house itself, loved all the windows that provide a nice view of the ocean from all parts of the home. The house is nicely laid out and very tastefully arranged. Loved the deck area for hottubbing, relaxing and “happy hour”. Only critique would be that supplies were sparse (no dishwasher soap, no extra paper towels, no napkins, no bags, no foil/plastic wrap). We would definitely stay here again!

Sea Ranch favorite

The house was well appointed for our group...2 families with kids. We loved the layout of the home. Lots of natural light and the hot tub was very nice for star gazing in the evening. This is our 4th time staying at Sea Ranch and this house is our favorite so far. The only thing I would say could be improved upon are the kitchen supplies and a deep cleaning. Kitchen could use a good set of pots and pans and some measuring spoons/cups. The house was reasonably clean, but could benefit from a deep cleaning...baseboards, spiderwebs on the exterior, dusty vents in the bathroom, hot tub drained and refilled as the water did not appear to be very clear. Aside from those items, we really enjoyed our time at Del Mar meadow. We would definitely stay again!

Great Spot to Relax!

This home is a great property with a cool layout, bay windows everywhere! With some deep cleaning and an update to furniture this would have 5 stars. If this was my property I’d do some minor remodeling to make this space too notch. My biggest bother was the cleanliness. Baseboards were filthy, counters greasy, bugs on window seals. It’s needs a true deep cleaning especially when we pay for cleaning services. Vacasa wanted to come address the cleaning issues but we just arrived, tired from a 4 hr drive, and just wanted to be alone. Can’t beat the view and hot tub tho!

Great Family Getaway

This house is fully loaded, clean well laid out for parents and kids, and in a great location, where all the best qualities of the Sea Ranch community come alive. My young kids (7 & 10) and I loved it for a peaceful summer getaway, along with our dog.

Short stay

Just a few problems: Not one single wine or champagne glass. Both toilets prone to running (wastes water) Check in at 4 pm and out by 10 seems unreasonable given the high prices Biggest problem was the WiFi. I had several zoom meetings I had to attend and the WiFi was only in the common kitchen area. In the master bedroom with working desk there was zero WiFi. It really doesn’t cost much to assure the WiFi covers the whole house. I was unable to fulfill my commitment

Family Holiday Getaway

This house is as pictured in the listing so you can be assured that what you see is exactly what you get. It was very clean and ready for us to use. The views were amazing and access to the coastal walking trail and Del Mar center a huge plus! My only suggestion would be to provide basic spices...like salt and pepper, Italian seasoning, etc...so that visitors can use them. Be prepared to have a wonderful time in Sea Ranch when you stay at this home.

Great location.

The house is nice but needs some maintenance and TLC. If you're going to cook bring your own herbs and spices. Loved the wildlife around the house - the large family of quail was fun to watch. This was our second stay in this house and it wasn't quite as nice as the first time.

Relaxing retreat

Enjoyed our stay! The space is larger/more spacious than pictured in my opinion—plenty of room for our family of four. That said the third room with bunk beds are likely better suited for children or small adults but not a problem for us. Stove has an air fryer capability:). Loved the hot tub—we used every day and also at night for star gazing. Easy walk to Bluff Trail. Only 5minutes drive to Gualala (gas, market, restaurants) and golf links.

Very special property

Our family had the most lovely stay at the Del Mar Meadow. The house is beautifully architecturally and perfect for couples and families. We loved how close the home was to the walking trails and the Del Mar swimming pool. It couldn’t be better and can’t wait to return.
