“We stayed here for a short break with the family. We were greeted with a lovely welcome pack from the owners and was really impressed with the lodge. Its location was perfect for places to visit, we went to Bamburgh castle, Berwick, Alnwick gardens and Holy Island in the time we stayed. The accommodation was spacious, clean and warm on arrival, with the log burner as a welcome extra. We would definitely recommend for a family getaway and would stay again in the future.”

“Host was extremely helpful leading up to our stay and provided lots of useful information. It was next to another shepheard’s but you still had plenty of privacy. The garden area was spacious and the hot tub was amazing! The hut itself was very cosy and toasty when the log burner was on. The bed was comfortable. The shower was warm and powerful. The kitchen area had everything you needed. Sleeping under the stars was amazing and we had great views both nights! You are about an hours walk away to……

I Would highly recommend, we done the full journey by public transport ane it was so easy to get around without a car. We slept in and had to leave in a hurry at checkout and feel really bad about not having time to give the accommodation a proper clean before we left. ”

“Would be difficult and unfair to offer any negative comments about this accommodation. Even better as a positive comment is the property does NOT allow Pets! Excellent. Additionally the private parking at the property is superb. I would definitely recommend and look forward to returning to the property in Wooler. “A Lovely little cottage with all the tech you need in great location and our own gardener (Ted). We had a great time in a great little town. Only teeny issue was that Master bedroom is up very steep stairs so we snuggled up in the other bedroom: otherwise can’t fault a thing. Helen was really easy to contact and enable access.”

Only note, instructions say the key is at the back of the house where the parking is but the parking and the key holder is clearly at the front of the house - not sure how a simple instruction like this can be wrongly noted. Other than this, everything great and would recommend property.”
