Keeping in mind that this is an extremely old hotel, and there are a few sloping floors and interesting smells, but that said it's a beautiful place. The staff is incredibly helpful and if you're looking to stay in history this is the place.

Our stay at this beautiful property was wonderful! Our room was incredibly clean and very comfortable. We had a room that led to the beautiful patio. We were given a glass of champagne as a welcome treat. They have a sister property where we were able to borrow bikes at no cost. Plus we were able to use the pool and saunas. After spending the day on the beach we decided to have dinner at the restaurant. The food was great, the atmosphere was nice and everyone was very friendly. We can’t wait to return.

Well maintained historic hotel. If you enjoy vintage hotels, you'll like this hotel. It has been tastefully updated and the room was clean and comfortable. Reception staff was knowlegeable about the comunity, helpful and courteous. We thought earplugs among the amenities was thoughful, and suspect that 100 year old walls between rooms were not very soundproof, but we did not have adjacent guests so don't know whether the earplugs were necessary. We enjoyed our stay and believe this would be a nice romantic get-away location. Our room had a balcony.

We had a great stay at The Shelburne Hotel. If you're looking for a place with history and character, this is it. The hotel is well maintained, very clean, and the room was comfortable throughout our stay. The staff was friendly and welcoming, check-in was smooth from start to finish. This was a lovely place to stay! We felt very welcomed, it's LGBTQ+ friendly which was wonderful. The only slight difficulty was the bed was a bit uncomfortable, but that is the mildest of complaints and we are picky bed people. The rest was great! The food was delicious, the room felt really nice, and everyone was so friendly and helpful. And it's so fun to stay in a historic place! We highly recommend staying here!

The room was clean and comfortable. The sister property, Adrift, located nearby, has a great saltwater pool and saunas to use. We enjoyed them. At the Inn, you have to make your own coffee using a french press. It would be nice to have a hot pot of coffee ready to go in the morning like they did at Adrift.
