Was a great stay. I was sick while there and my host, his wife and daughter took very good care of me. Made me home made soup. Room is cozy and nice, grounds are lovely, house is right next to the river. Breakfast was made with love.

Delightful place and amazing hosts

We could not have dreamt of a better place to start our Sri Lanka trip. The place is beautiful, nested among trees at the end of a road and along the river. Our room was brand new, comfortable and colorful. The bathroom was open to the exterior giving you the impression of showering outdoor, while the Air conditioning inside keeps you cool. Our « room » was really a small house with a loft bed. While we loved it, I guess if you had vertigo or bad knees you should ask for another one of the rooms. To rival the beauty of the spot is the amazing kindness of the people who are hosting you. Their smiles and helpfulness would have been enough to recommend the place.

On our last full day in Sri Lanka we looked for a place close to the airport and this was the perfect location to unwind and relax before the flight! The service was friendly, helpful, personal with very good attention to detail. We loved the beautiful, tranquil location by the river- teeming with birds and other wild life. The pool was a great source of joy for the kids especially. We loved all the details in the villa including the hammock and the 4 Persian cats. All in all the whole family agreed this was a great end to our stay!

This is a great little place not too far from the airport. The staff was incredibly friendly and always smiling, and nothing was too much to ask. We arrived relatively late in the day (around 9pm) and got served the most amazing dinner (ask for the seene sambal, it's scrumptious). Room was very comfortable, bathroom had a good powerful and hot shower, nice little pool to relax by with a cold beer. Excellent value for money. The one potential downside is the location, as it's a bit away from the main road, so you're going to have to bring food or eat there (but the food is really good, so it's not an issue really)

고즈넉한 아름다움의 숨은 아지트...

톰소여의 모험에 나오는 미시시피강 옆 아름다운 경관의 비밀아지트에 있다는 느낌... 조식도 매우 맛있었음. 여행 가이드를 하고 있는 사장님과 staff(가족들로 구성) 모두 너무 친절함. 위치는 대로변에서 골목길로 꽤 들어가므로 전화하니 대로변으로 데릴러 와 주셨음. (So calm and beautiful hidden place with very kind all staff with nice smile. Breakfast is also very good. GPS failed to find exact location of the villa cause it was located little bit far from main street. If you call them, then they will guide you.)
