Vacation with family

It was a nice time at this beautiful home. It was clean, very spacious and beautiful interior. We also enjoyed the balconies. Must stay.

Definitely not the best

We did not love this home. Rugs and upholstery were stained very badly. Refrigerator down in garage was not cold. Found out the hard way by sticking fruit in there. Filter in home were very dirty. No garage code given was told to leave garage open during stay but kids room was down right beside garage. Do not recommend.

Upon arrival everything seemed clean and working but after being there a few hrs we found many things that were not working and not as clean as we would have preferred. The carpets and upholstery are very stained. I realize its a rental but they definitely could use a good cleaning and maybe even replacement of carpet in living room. The ice maker in the refrigerator is not working, The light above the microwave wasnt workjng. The refrigerator in the garage was plugged in and on but not cold. We figured that out to late. The hvac vents in each room were disgusting, not sure when they were changed last. The grill in the garage had propane. I did message vacas and They did say they would contact the local office to get some of the above items repaired. Overall our stay was okay. We enjoyed the pools and property. Highly recommend visiting The Point on property. Probably would not consider this proposal again for the quality and price of rental, unless they make some upgrades. You do have to pay extra to use resort amenities.

July 4th weekend

The home was in a great location and the “club” amenities are great. 2nd time here but 1st using Vacasa. The home was clean and ready for use which was nice. Few points I wasn’t thrilled with 1)Having to go to the Bethany beach office for key pickup and drop off. Not an huge deal but added about 40 minutes of driving when a simply lock box:code could have worked on site. 2) the house is meant to be entered through the garage, the parking is for the garage but we were not given (I asked) the garage code to enter the home via the garage. This was quite annoying having to walk around a condominium to the front of the building just to get in or out. There’s no parking near the front door. 3) toilet seat in bedroom was broken, as I’m missing completely. I contacted Vacasa immediately and was told the local team would handle it. A few follow ups and nothing. No one contacted us. Porcelain is cold… 4) the aforementioned lockbox wasn’t locked and had a key sitting out in the open, could have caused a huge safety concern but I luckily noticed in my many trips to the front door. Overall, I’d stay again in this development but maybe through alternate means.

Very easy check-in and check-out process. Helpful information posted on listing. Plenty of room for a family of 7, including younger ones. Right across street from welcome center and indoor pool/gym. Also right down the road from golf course and clubhouse with Signatures restaurant, which we went and very much enjoyed everything they had to offer. Was nice having great food so close, we went twice with no wait. No reservations needed both Thursday and Saturday night around 630-7pm. Little less than mile from main outdoor pool, but plenty of parking available to drive to it if that is what you prefer. A lot of activities and outdoor pool has enough to keep kids busy playing. Bar and grill have plenty of options to eat and drink while at outdoor pools. Indoor pool seems to be geared more toward exercising/workout, but still enough room on the one side without the swimming lanes. Outdoor hot tub out of order but looked nice. Not a big deal, but as a heads up will need to bring your own towels for both indoor and outdoor pools, no towels provided by Bayside. Gym is new and has all equipment anyone should need. Have lockers with showers and a sauna. They have a Smart TV in living room that will allow for all the streaming needs, didn’t look into using actual cable but there is a separate remote so assume they have regular live TV. Upstairs master has a large walk-in closet and enough room for two plus year-old child. Other room has a couch to relax on while not in bed. Lower floor has two bunk beds. Would recommend TVs in rooms, at least the lower floor room to keep kids busy and not have to constantly hangout at living room as it is the only TV at the rental currently. That would be the only negative (a small one) about the rental, that there is only one TV located in living room on main floor. All around, it was a great rental with no issues at all for a 3 night stay. Had everything as advertised on the listing, and the Bayside community has enough to do if you were to stay for a week with a family. Provided more than enough information for everything dealing with the rental and community, so appreciated the great communication. Will look to stay here again in future!
