“Don't be put off by the 2☆ rating. This wee hotel is good.
The staff are friendly, maid service prompt and efficient and location is excellent. Pretty much central in town and lot's of cafes and restaurant's on the doorstep. The rooms are clean and spacious, however a little outdated. I have stayed in 4☆'s that were worse though..The bed is comfortable.
Negatives are over the weekend it gets noisy from midnight until around 3/4am due to proximity of late opening bars. Not a big issue though..……

“We arrived late and there was nobody to check us in. We tried calling the number on the gate, but this wasn't answered and afterward the phone was switched off. There is a lack of communication and the photo's on Expedia do not represent the poor state of the hotel. We will not book this again”

“We arrived in Cherbourg by sailboat, but the journey had been rough and we were feeling cold wet and tired, and wanted a nearby place to recuperate, rather than sleep on our boat in the cold weather. This place was ideal. We had good wash and sleep, and was refreshed for our onward sailing journey.”
