Small but mighty!

You 100% get what you pay for! Its small, quaint, and pretty dirty, but if for the price, you really cant beat it. The owner and worker there are super sweet and friendly and will help you at a moments notice.

The shared bathroom was a room with 2 shower curtain partitions that havent been cleaned in a long time and a sink. During my stay, the sink pipe broke. Hot water supply was great, kitchen amenities were homely, room was small but cozy, good for solo travellers. I'd stay here for 1-2 nights but i wouldnt stay longer. Location was convenient to get to the bus stop, and the bus to the airport stops there. Travel to Gangnam/Seongsu/Hongdae is about 1h by public transportation, Myeongdong around 35min. The area felt safe, I had no problems coming back late at night.

The room was dirty, there was dust everywhere, and it was very cold. The bed is very hard and not comfortable at all to lay on. The shared bathroom was also very cold, dirty and felt impossible to have privacy. I contacted staff about this and they were helpful giving me some extra blankets and another room with a private shower. I am thankful for that. However the water in that shower was ice cold, and the room temperature was set to max so this place was too hot. The same night the water in the shared showers was also ice cold. I ended up leaving the place the next morning and moving to another location. I will say that the staff is friendly and welcoming to accommodate you, but the place it self is too run down and does not feel clean or comfortable.

The room is small but big enough to be comfortable with one big luggage inside, if you have larger luggage you can leave it outside in the hallway. The place is cleaned every day and the lady taking care of it is very nice.

Priprty had ongoing plumbing issues (no hot water/ water leak for women's shower and washing machine facilities- making it difficult to use. This stayed started from day 1. Rooms were not clean properly, had to ask to switch on 2nd day. I had to exit early when the plumbing issues extended for most of my stay. The age of building is a factor. Sorry.

The room is small but still able a luggage. It is also quiet, tidy and enough facilities. The staff is very nice and helpful. It would be appreciated if some hooks can be added in the shared bathroom for hanging the dry clothes.

I stayed at the Single Dream House for five nights on my first trip to Seoul. The bus stop is very close and my Korean friends told me that the area is extremely safe, so I was able to feel relaxed even when I was out late. The guy who works there is so kind and helpful, he definitely had a big part in making my trip enjoyable. The accomodation is also very clean. If you are looking for a place to stay, I would really recommend the Dream Single House!

The women's floor had a number key lock on the door and I felt VERY safe! Shared bathroom and kitchen were also women only, which was nice. The room seemed small in pictures, but it really was the perfect, cozy size even for a longer stay (10 days). The manager/owner was SUPER helpful. I would not have been able to get a taxi and get to one of my appointments without his help! He was also very patient when I arrived late on my first day and thought I had lost my room key.

I asked for help as the room was too hot and had no windows, they didn’t do anything. The person at the reception left before 5pm The worse was the dust in the room and the mold in the shower. It is not worth the price I payed. The door was broken and so it kept ringing late at night.

About 500 meters from the closest metro station. Really cheap for a single room. The rooms are great, the shared bathroom need some love. Your stay will depends on the other people with you. When I stayed, there was a lot of people making noise at 2 am and they were listening to movie on full volume without earphones. That was not nice, they didn’t listen when someone asked them to lower the volume/ put on earphones. Also, one person was washing her underwear with the shared bar of soap. Beware that there are quite a lot of mosquitoes or maybe something in the bed, that stung me quite a little. Not sure what is was, since I saw only one mosquito in my stay.
