"The hotel was older but the rating was right on. Close to the entrance to the park, and was perfect for a one night stay to get an early start in Sequoia NP. Did have a great meal at the Gateway Lodge just up the road."

Wuksachi Lodge

10/10 Excellent

"The location is perfect with the only options outside the park a lengthy drive on winding switchback roads. Rooms were very well kept, and the lodge restaurant was quite nice. The only drawback would be getting to your room if you weren’t able to handle no elevator, or had trouble walking up to the rooms which are situated on a hill."

"Check in & out was smooth. Staff were pleasant. Standard continental breakfast (scrambled eggs, bacon or sausage, typical cereals, waffle maker, etc.). The lock/deadbolt was obstructed by the strike plate. Thus, could not lock. The shower curtain barely fits inside the shower. You have to wet the curtain so it will stick to the tub or else water will go all over the floor. Has Tesla destination chargers that worked well. Pricey. Paying for convenience. We would most likely stay here again if we go back the Sequoia NP."

"I did not eat breakfast there. When I arrived, I eat dinner at the restaurant. It was so so. The door lock on the room was broken. It was all kinds of stuff inoperable in the lodge paying $430 was a total rip off. I left the first night. I didn’t even stay the next two nights if you book here, make sure you only book one night. "
