My husband and I chose this cabin for its seclusion. Let me begin by saying that we had a very nice time here.
I will just give a rundown of our experience. Up until three days before our arrival date we had not been contacted with our key code. After inquiring through a couple of emails and texts, I was called with the information. Upon arrival at the cabin, however, the code did not work. Another contact with the manager was necessary. As we were preparing to text, a truck pulled in the drive and informed us that we had no water in the cabin. So there we stood...no key code/entry, and no prior information that the water was off in the cabin. We were given a different key code which allowed us to enter, but without water, we headed to town. Because we rented on a holiday (July 4), the chances of another room being available would have been slim. As things turned out, after two repair people came out to work on the water...it came on just as we returned to the cabin.
Because of the water snafu, the hot tub was not filled and was cold. The manager walked my husband through filling it again and instructed him to turn the electricity back on. Since the water was not tested for chemical balance, I would not use the hot tub. That was a disappointment, as I had never used one before and it was one reason we chose a cabin.
On a positive note: The jetted heart-shaped tub in the loft has a beautiful view and was so relaxing. We enjoyed it very much.
I don't know if the paper towels, dishwashing liquid, soft soap, and toilet paper is normally stocked or those items were left from the last guests, but they were in the cabin. There were only a couple of towels. Not enough, so I am glad we brought our own. There is a land line phone in the cabin, which was nice in case of an emergency. If dishes are used, you are asked to run the dishwasher. I did not see any dishwasher pods.
The driveway is very, very steep. The road leading to the cabin is very curvy. Although it is secluded, there is a cabin located to each side of it...but far enough away and positioned so...that if you are on the porch you are still private. The view from the porch/upstairs loft is very nice...know that it is not a sweeping mountain view. There are trees blocking that view, so a partially obstructed mountain view would be accurate.
A suggestion I would make is to invest in another TV box so that each TV can play a different program.
