Much needed getaway

We absolutely loved our stay at Good Times, beautiful, clean, peaceful… it was such a much needed break for us. The nearby wildfire had us a bit nervous, thankfully they got it contained.

Peaceful and cozy

Host was great with communication and we had no issues. Check in was easy, Mr. Walt emailed clear instructions. Was a great experience surrounded by nature! We had a party of 5, myself, my mom, my sister, my son and his girlfriend. We all slept comfortably and the cabin was close to town. This will definitely be a great memorable trip for my family!

Great awesome place ,we saw bear several time's. Made a fire in the fire pit bear came within 20 yds of us pretty cool. We shot pool several times and sit in the jacuzzi in the evenings. This place was perfect for us. Walt the contact person was great, he responded quickly and give great details on things we needed for our visit here. Can’t wait to come again. Great family getaway

The property was exactly as described. We had beautiful views and the location provided seclusion without feeling isolated. We had lots of fun playing rounds of pool, spending time in the hot tub, and making s'mores by the fire. The cabin was clean and well furnished. We were able to navigate Brother's Cove in our Honda Odyssey van, so the steep roads were manageable. We felt very safe here as well.

Mountain getaway

Such a relaxing vacation. Enjoyed the pool, hot tub, firepit, and cooking meals on the grill. We did have a bear in the yard on two different days. Sitting on the deck at night and only hearing the noise of insects was surreal. The views were just beautiful! I would definitely come back again.

Amazing time

We booked the cabin as a short getaway to spend some time relaxing and riding our motorcycle through the Smoky Mountains with great friends. The cabin exceeded our expectations and we thoroughly enjoyed spending time there. The quaint rustic feel, to the hot tub and amazing views. We even got to experience a yearling bear walking through the yard. Our only drawback would be we would not recommend bringing a trailer to the cabin as we had some difficulties maneuvering the trailer around the steep driveway. Otherwise we recommend Good Times cabin #34 to anyone.

Great vacation the place was very relaxing and clean. I will suggest Keep all new batteries on the front door lock i would hate for another family to experience a lock out when they arrive how i did especially after daylight regardless of how long they had to wait until they get in contact with a host.

Bear Visit

Very nice cabin well equipped for me. Had a bear visit, first he was on the front porch lying like a dog then he went around to the back deck got on the hot tub and drank my wife's cocktail... Awesome experience... I think he got drunk because a few minutes later he was on the roof of the neighbors truck... It was great, shall return..

Beautiful and secluded

We were so excited to spend our time at this cabin. It was absolutely stunning. One of the cleanest properties we have rented in the Smokies. Price was very reasonable. It's in a gated community with other cabins but they are not butted up against each other. We felt totally secluded while enjoying the back porch and fire pit. Great family getaway

We loved our stay. The cabin was well furnished, clean, and safe. We had seclusion without feeling isolated. It was about a 30 minute drive to Pigeon Forge and Wears Valley, slightly longer to Gatlinburg. We liked being away from the super touristy areas and tucked away in the mountains. We enjoyed breaks in the hot tub after hiking, playing games of pool on a rainy day, and making s'mores by the campfire in the evening. The two queen beds were comfortable. The kids enjoyed having the pull out couch as another sleeping option or just a place to stretch out and watch a movie at the end of the day. Check out procedures weren't bad - just emptying trash cans, putting towels in the tubs, and running a final load in the dishwasher. Overall, a great stay and a very smooth experience.

The perfect 20 year anniversary!

My husband and I wanted to go back to where we honeymooned for our 20 year anniversary and this cabin was everything we needed! We did spend our week riding all over the area on our motorcycle which was amazing! The road to the cabin is steep and the driveway is even steeper so our trailer could have been an issue but we were able to park it by the office along with a couple of other trailers who faced the same issue. The location is beautiful and was as described. My only complaint was no bear sightings 🐻 lol

Great location

The stay was overall good. The location and views are perfection. The set up of the bedrooms were good. The cabin is as pictured. However, the beds were uncomfortable. They sink to the middle so this is an age thing not a preference thing. Lastly, the back porch lights did not work. We contacted management and never heard back. That’s disappointing. The back deck is unusable after dusk bc of this. It’s too dark. The guest book had previous guest complain about it as well.
