Amazing view and relaxing setting

My adult children had an amazing with plenty of things todo. Would definitely go back.

Pros: Location, good area close to town. No crazy driveway or dirt roads. Lower level area was great for the kids. Easy check in and out. Hot water was really hot. NIce view.Cons: NO welcome package with house instructions. No instructions to operate hot tub, fireplace or TV.Smart streaming TV without basic channels like ESPN to watch the football games. We reached out to staff and will not provide the pin number for us to install YouTube TV on the Roku TV. We had a firestick and took forever to setup but were able to watch the games in terrible quality and buffering forever because of terrible internet. The owner said the internet is sporadic. Well, get satellite TV then not streaming. No wine opener. When we got there the cover of the hot tub was on the ground with pieces of foam everywhere. old hot tub that the temperature can't be regulated. It did get hot but to hot for the kids to get in it. The main TV in the lower level was not functional. would have been nice to have because couches downstairs are more comfortable than the ones upstairs. Ligths outside were not great and was quite dark. No chritsmas lights of any kind. We stayed in Georgia during Chritsmas before and the vrbo was nicely decorated with lights and tree. Overall don't recommend. We will definetly not stay here again.

Below average experience

Arrived to find wood floors and kitchen counters dirty. We ended up buying cleaning supplies and spending a couple hours to get the grease off the counters and make it such we could walk across the floor without dirty feet. The supposed cable TV (direct TV streaming units) didn't work in most of the rooms. Most of the remotes had either weak or no batteries at all. It took two hours to get one unit working. Speaking of that, property managment sent someone to 'fix' the direct tv units the next day without telling us,which I found weird. The person only made things worse. Direct TV worked on one of the 5 televisions in the cabin for our entire stay. There was a check-in survey with the property owner's site where I relayed my concerns about cleanliness and the technical issues. They didn't reach out, so I assume they weren't concerned. The hot tub at this site was absolutely disgusting. If you're renting this cabin, assume that you're not going to use it. The internet connection and cell service are pretty-much non existent at the cabin. If you need to attend a meeting remotely, etc. it will not be possible. To the good, the unit has a good view and is fairly comfortable once you get it clean.
