Beautifull stream views

If you want to sit out in the morning and drink a cup of coffee with beautiful sights and sounds around you this is the place. cozy and comfortable- with everything you need. Great stay

Quaint Cottage

Loved this little cottage! Many have stated that it's dated....it is, BUT if you looked at the pic'sat all, it clearly shows that. We thought that was part of its old school charm. Would definitely stay here again!!

Very scenic environment

We loved it! The cabin was cute and right on the water. Loved the sounds of the water on the rocks. So relaxing. The cutest covered bridge. We even saw otters.

Wonderful wedding anniversary trip

My husband and I spent our 32nd wedding anniversary at the River Rhapsody. It was quaint and beautiful. Listening to the river each time the moment you walk outside. We also did some fishing and had alot of fun!

Cozy little cabin on the river

If you don't need much, then this is the place for you. Fantastic view of the stream. There is a bed in the loft that we didn't use and the bathroom could use an update but everything worked and would rent again in a heartbeat.

good for a quiet get-away

We appreciated that this was away from the traffic of Gatlinburg/Pidgeon Forge and I loved having coffee by the mountain stream. Honestly, there was a little bit of a smell to the cabin....possibly musty, but the location was lovely. Enjoyed walking to the old historic graveyard near by. Check-in and Check-out was super easy. Thank you!

Quaint and Quiet

I was looking for a quiet cabin on a river near Gatlinburg. Found this little cabin. It’s near other cabins, but the street was very quiet. Everyone I saw was friendly. There is a covered bridge at the end of the road that’s pretty cool to walk across. A river otter was playing about 10 feet from the back patio. Good for one or two adults or a couple with a small child.

wonderful view

We loved the view and the sound of the river ! The cabin was great except the AC being right above a comfy recliner, it was too cold to enjoy! I am cold natured though. Also the sheets were rough. Overall a great experience

Celebration of 54 Valentines together

I was blown away with the Little Pigeon River so beautiful and peaceful . Loved the privacy The Covered bridge was an unexpected pleasure. The old cemetery the house it self needs updating. Esp the bath and kitchen And decluter the walls but I loved our time there

Relaxing Vacation

The location is perfect!! We were only 20 minutes from Gatlinburg and 30 from Pigeon Forge. The country store at the end of the street has everything you need. Very peaceful and friendly neighborhood. We took advantage of the free event tickets as well. Dollywood and Pirates voyage Dinner Theater. Both were amazing. Extra blankets are a must but I like being cozy.

Quiet Getaway

If you’re looking for something different from mountain views this is it. While the place is older, everything was very clean. The best part about this place is being right next to the river and being able to hear the sounds of the running water. There are also steps down to the river and a space in the back of the cottage that would be perfect for a couple chairs. We were hoping the cottage would have been in a bit more of a private setting. There are several neighbors around, but it was a very quiet area and we had no issues at all. Another perk of this cottage is being walking distance to a covered bridge. We really enjoyed our quick stay and wished we could have stayed a few days longer. We hope to be back soon!

Peaceful

Place was peaceful, but checking process was a mess. The listing says a different address and host never changed the address. We had no access to the emails at that point to check for the confirmation email and was only following the address mentioned in the list screen shot that I took. Had to stay in a motel for a night and host even did not refunded the amount for his mistake. Except for that place was good, but the accuracy of the listing and pictures shown in the listing are off.

Cute place for a quick get away

We arrived later in the evening on Friday night. GPS took us right to the home and was easy to find, even in the dark haha! It was quite chilly outside and was quite chilly in the home when we arrived. Heat worked okay, but not much heating options in the home. Small space heater did well to keep bedroom warm but living room space never warmed up greatly despite changing thermostat and running heat option in electric fireplace. Disappointed in the loft area - it has a queen bed up there but no one checks up there evidently. The bed looked like someone had slept in it and cleaning wasn’t done. The main bed was fine but because it was chilly, it would have been nice to have option of adding another blanket to the bed. Beautiful views of the river from the home! My husband is 6’ tall and shower head was quite short making showers more difficult for him. All in all a very cute place for a quick get away.

A Gem of a location IF it was actually taken care of

There is SO much I am not happy about. Just prior to us arriving the property manger reached out to let us know the rental we were scheduled to stay it had some major plumbing problems and wouldn't be fixed in time so they put us in another house next door and was told it was a little bigger but the same location/amenities. I didnt have an issue since it was better than us trying to find another location for the weekend, but thats pretty much where the "I'm ok with that" stopped. Upon out arrival we noticed the exterior condition was not very appealing. The house was probably built in the 70's and it showed, insider AND out. The appliances, furniture, bed and everything in this house didn't look like it had been upgraded since the 70's. The bathroom was disgusting. Yellowish "stuff" on the ceiling that dripping on you when you tried to take a shower. The shower head was disgusting as well. The AC/Heater unit sounded like a jet airplane when it was running and smelled moldy. The bed sheet were clean Except the fitted undersheet/mattress protector which had brown stains on it that looked like someone S#!% on them. We were so exhausted from out trip/drive that we decided to just suck it up since we were right on the river and just use the place to sleep. There WAY more issues but no room write anymore. This was out 1 yr anniversary so it made me even more furious cause I wanted out trip to be special. Fortunately my wife sucked it up the two days we stayed.

On the river.

Cozy cabin but like many other people have said that the decor needs updating and maybe take a few things down off the walls. There was a very high pitched squeal in the bathroom plumbing at times. But, it had everything we needed and was comfortable and we are glad we could stay there.
