Its location in the Barrio de Santa Cruz means it is only a few minutes’ walk away from everything that Seville has to offer; history, art, magnificent buildings, a fantastic cuisine... Mateo Gago I and Mateo Gago Ático are two stunning apartments housed in the same traditional, recently restored stately house. Properties which take us back to days of old, when quality and detail mattered, where space was everything, where comfort and privacy combined to mark the difference between a house and a home.
Bright, elegant and chic, Mateo Gago I welcomes its guests with the natural sunlight which streams in through the two large French windows in the living room overlooking Mateo Gago street. The interior décor is simple yet practical and stylish. The high ceilings afford a regal air, the white walls and clean lines a modern look in contrast with the classical woodwork and the wooden floors, which provide warmth and a sense of homeliness.
The entrance hall leads directly to the living room, dining area and modern kitchen. There is a large dining table for 6 people, and a sitting area with two comfortable sofas, a coffee table, a bookcase and TV with DVD player. The perfect place for resting after an intense day of work or sight-seeing. Next to the kitchen we have a small inner patio equipped with a table and two chairs.
A corridor leads out of the living room to the rest of the apartment.On the left of the corridor is the master bedroom with two single beds. The second bedroom has a queen sized bed. All three bedrooms have their own en suite bathroom.
Mateos Gago street is in the historical centre of the city, next to the Giralda, the Avenida de la Constitución, the Plaza Nueva and the main shopping streets to one side, and the Barrio de Santa Cruz, the Real Alcázar, the Murillo gardens and the María Luisa Park a few minutes’ walk away. This is Seville: lively and vibrant, dotted with houses, churches, flamenco venues and countless bars and restaurants offering the very best of local cuisine.
