Instantly enjoy the great Alaskan outdoors when you step off your porch. Walk out to Glacier Creek and experience the stunning 360 view and all it has to offer. At night enjoy a blazing outdoor bonfire Alaskan style (wood provided). Step away from the fire and experience the big Alaskan sky. Return inside and feel at home in your cozy 1300 sq ft. surroundings. Full kitchen and laundry, spacious bedrooms, comfortable beds, baths with tub shower combo, the wood stove, and 2 diesel wall heaters to keep you warm and cozy. Just minutes from town at mile 6.3 on the Seward Hwy, supplies and adventure are close at hand.

Our favorite stay in Alaska. The cabin was very spacious for 4 adults and the full kitchen made it super easy to make meals. Was only about 20 minutes to downtown where all the restaurants and tours are based. There wasn’t much of a view since there are trees and shrubs, but it’s still very peaceful and you can take the pathway at the back of the property to the creek.

We originally wanted to stay in Seward, but found this place. It was a great choice. Very close by to everything we needed to access. We went to Exit Glacier, Seward, and Millers Landing. Very well taken care of, all the little things...night lights, scissors, strainer, all kitchen necessities. It was perfect! Thank you!

Really fantastic property. Lots of wildlife around, we had two moose in the backyard at dusk and several fluffy bunnies. The house was perfect for our family of 5. Beds were comfy, laundry room was big and better than what we have at our home. There’s a path to the river behind the house that we explored. Ian communicated lots of helpful info and was a great host. Whenever we come back to Seward, we will definitely stay here again!

This property worked perfectly for our family. The layout of the home is very nice and allows for privacy. The interior finishes are very nicely done. The bedding and linens were soft and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked and the dish ware, cookware and utensils were brand new. The home is very clean. We hope to stay with you again.

Ian’s place is great. It is close to town, spacious, convenient yet secluded, and we had numerous moose come through the yard while we were eating breakfast in the living room.

What a delightful cabin in beautiful surroundings! Had a perfect stay at Ian's property as a party of four adults and a child. The house has the most comfortable beds and the best amenities. The best part is the location, only 10 minutes from Seward harbor, and yet secluded. We made a campfire, spotted moose and rabbits on the property, and enjoyed the views of the creek just 10 steps out of the backyard. Ian was a communicative and generous host. I recommend this stay to anyone visiting Seward- it will only make your trip better.

Great stay in the Seward area!

We stayed at the Alaska View Lodge for four nights while in Seward with my wife and three adult children and had a great time. The location is wonderful - 5 minutes to Seward makes it close to all of the activities there, but removed enough to feel out on your own a bit as well - out enough we got to watch a mama moose and her two calves grazing right in the backyard - amazing! We also saw salmon a five minute drive away at the Salmon Weir. Very clean, well stocked (in fact, extremely well stocked!) kitchen - how many VRBO's have a meat thermometer? Beds are great, two full bathrooms are also great. Great communication, very helpful host with suggestions for the area etc. We would definitely stay here again if we return to Seward and it were available. Great stay, great host, great property, great location!

Beautiful, peaceful home surrounded by nature

We loved our stay here away from the summer hustle of Seward. Ian was very communicative and provided excellent recommendations. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything needed to cook and we appreciated being able to use the washer/dryer and wood stove, which included plenty of wood ready to use. Highly recommend Ian’s home for anyone visiting Seward. We would definitely return!
