Karri Views: Family‑friendly house, walk to inlet, close to town
* Price includes all beds made & full house access. UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT - bonus welcome gift for the first 10 bookings
Tucked away amongst the towering Karri trees of Weedon Hill in Denmark, this welcoming three-bedroom, two-bathroom home is a classic Denmark forest holiday house. It’s simple, spacious, and perfect for families or a group of friends to focus on slowing down, breathing in the forest air, and enjoying relaxed time together bird watching and playing games in front of the fire.
Set on an elevated block with a peaceful street frontage, the home offers views of the inlet through the Karri trees, while the surrounding natural bush garden attracts an abundance of birdlife, perfect for winding down with a local wine and food platter after a day exploring the many attractions in the region.
Karri Views is close to the access stairway to a lovely flat walking path along the inlet which is part of the world renowned Bibbulmun Track. In less than 5 mins, you can drive to the town centre, Ocean Beach, Prawn Rock Channel and many restaurants, wineries, hiking trails and family friendly beaches. You'll be a 50 minute drive from the historic town of Albany, where the first fleet left Australia; home to the National ANZAC museum, and natural wonders of The Gap, Blow Holes and the Natural Bridge.
For those who want to relax at home, there is an outdoor gas BBQ and dining table under cover of the verandah. Inside the house, downstairs, you’ll find an open-plan living/dining area with a fully equipped kitchen, a QS bedroom and a bunk room with double bunk and single above, a bathroom with both a bath and separate shower, separate toilet and laundry and a cosy lounge. The whole area is kept toasty warm by a slow-combustion wood fire — easily adjusted for a long, gentle burn that keeps the entire home warm through the night. For extra comfort, there are separate fin heaters available in all the bedrooms.
Upstairs is a private retreat, featuring a spacious master bedroom with garden views and a second bathroom. The large main lounge room is also located upstairs and opens out onto a balcony, ideal for soaking in the elevated views.
