Riverside is a beautifully renovated, newly purchased home, by former Berkshire Rental Property renters -so you know they know what works! The inside is spacious yet inviting and cozy with many comfortable touches throughout. The outside is uplifting and refreshing with the Housatonic River coursing along in the background, behind the house, but in full view from the backyard. The two-car garage provides direct entry into the breezeway and then it is just steps into the kitchen with gourmet features. The kitchen is super equipped with high-end stainless appliances including six-burner gas range, Bosch dishwasher and Kitchenaid fridge with filtered water and readily available ice - both crushed and cubes! Many great cooking gadgets and mini appliances here to make your stay easy and efficient - coffee maker, toastr, blender, microwave, food processor, Kitchenaid Mixer... and more. An actual chef cooks here when it isn't rented, so it is well equipped. The open concept great room also has a spacious seating area near one of several wall mounted flat screen HD Smart TVs with Cable and access to all subscription TV. Just around the corner is an office/library space for a quiet place to get some work done or to curl up with a book. The large backyard deck is just off the dining area and has a fabulous outdoor dining set upo with huge umbrella for coverage. There is a propane grill on the deck and it overlooks the River for a spectacular natural setting and nature viewing! This main floor also has a convenient 1/2 bath, just off the entry and close to the door that leads to the deck outside.
Upstairs, are 3 bedrooms: The primary bedroom with king bed, wood-burning fireplace with cozy leather club chairs, TV, walk in closet and its own ensuite full bathroom with shower - just fully renovated in spring 2021. 2 full baths, upstairs. The other two guest rooms each have a queen bed, one has another TV and both have nice closets. These two guest rooms share the other full bathroom with a combination tub/shower. All of the bedrooms have crisp fresh high thread count linens and are ready to welcome their guest!
The lower level has just been renovated in 2021 and functions as a large bonus room with a 4th sleeping space with a king bed, large TV, and a workout room around the corner with new treadmill and weight bench plus spretching area... also with a mounted TV and water cooler - so cool! The large well-lit laundry room is also on this lower level.
Location: Less than 10 minutes to Guidos and downtown Great Barrington and close to all the Berkshire attractions while being situated on the more rural side of town. Great Barrington host a fabulous shopping experience with gourmet candy and ice cream, toys, galleries, bars and a wonderful array of dining experiences... along with fun the Pot Shops... for those ready to partake. less than 15 minutes to Ski Butternut and 20 minutes to Catamount. The Housatonic provides a resource for kayaking, and catch and release fishing - as well as a gorgeous meditative place for nature viewing.
