“We had an absolutely lovely stay at the Peaceful Retreat cabin. VERY clean & nice decor. The hosts were VERY accommodating & quick to respond. The view of the lake from the front porch swing was calming. We wanted to stay longer!”

“Everything was just like the pictures. Clean and nice. Instructions were clearly laid out on check in and out and what to do. There were a few wasps in the outside ceiling fan but they didn’t bother us and I am only mentioning it for the owner to know. ”

“The house at first seemed too far out of the way for me, but once we got there we loved the location by the river and with a dock to fish and swim from. We loved that. The kitchen was well stocked for breakfasts. It became a great base to visit Montgomery, Selma and Birmingham; along with visiting family in the area. ”

“Check-n was at 3:00 pm, however at 3:45 pm on the day of check-in we still had not received our keys/code for access or check-in instructions. We should have received them at least 2 days prior to our trip. Yet the evening before our check-out, the host was sure to remind us of when our check-out of 10:00 am was. The dishwasher was not connected properly and therefore, we had to wash dishes by hand for 2 days and only when the maintenance man came by to spray for ants, another problem to be……

“This was an amazing cabin. It was well stocked and super clean. We loved the ambiance of the cabin, and it was exactly as pictured. The hosts were excellent and you can tell by the way the cabin was decorated that they took extra care with the added touches. We would definitely stay at this cabin again! ”
