The bed was comfortable and the HVAC system was quiet and efficient. We got a good sleep. That is what OYO hotels promise so we shouldn't complain. But the management here needs to pay more attention to the quality of work done by the housekeeping staff. The bathtub in our unit did not appear to be clean but the rest of the room looked good and we were tired when we checked in so I went to the manager and explained the concern, showing him pictures. I said that if he gave me cleaner and a cloth I could clean the tub myself - while fully expecting him to send a staff member to do the job. He surprised me and gave me the cloth and cleaner so I cleaned the tub. In the process I splashed a little water on the floor so, when I was finished, I used the cloth to wipe it up. The cloth showed that the floor, although it looked clean, was not and I eventually showed the dirty cleaning cloth to the manager. He apologized and agreed that his staff needs to be more careful.
This is the third hotel from 3 different brands, in the last four days of our journey from Niagara Falls to Alberta where there have been concerns about cleanliness and hygiene.
