「This is a beautiful, clean, traquil and relaxing home away from home. The beds are comfortable, the living space is open and full of light during the day. The hosts have made great efforts to make this a family and/or couple friendly destination. Our dog was welcomed and enjoyed her stay (being with her people). The views are spectacular.」

「We really enjoyed our stay in this Civil War era home. Very clean with plenty of towels and soaps. It had a good location in Sharpsburg. We walked to the bakery (twice), the ice cream shop and the library. Easy access to the Antietam Battlefield. Appliances worked as expected. We have stayed in numerous period homes and this home was by far the best equipped for preparing meals in the kitchen. Wi-Fi was very good and strong throughout the home. Great place to stay in Sharpsburg.」

「A historical gem of a property! The property owner was very welcoming and communicative. Check-in was simple and as explained. The pictures don’t do the home justice. Spacious rooms for a historic home with modern upgrades. Beautiful property overlooking a babbling stream and large pond. The property is a treasure in the rolling countryside and we’re already looking forward to our next visit! Thank you!」
