It wasn't easy to get taxis to local areas, you had to book about an hour ahead, and they wanted longer rides, like into Durrës or Tirana. “All in all it was a very nice stay there. Checking in was most uncomplicated, we arrived at the resort and at the entrance they phoned someone who brought us to our apartment and gave us the key. Am Abend, aber natürlich auch tagsüber, kann man schöne Stunden im Melia Hotel, gleich nebenan, verbringen. Mit einem Leihwagen haben wir zahlreiche Sehenswürdigkeiten Albaniens besichtigt.
