“This is a very old Victorian style house. It has noisy steam heat; barely working locks (some don't work at all), and sketchy electrical. We booked 2br/2ba, which got us the 2nd and 3rd floors (host lives on the 1st floor). Furnishings are old; kitchens are functional, but that's it. Water pressure was VERY low. The host is an extremely nice guy. He owns a small restaurant nearby that serves really delicious food and AWESOME shakes. The ad says that "off street parking is available". That's……

“Check in was very easy. Wi-Fi access was very easy with no password! I love the double bathtub. utensils in the kitchen are scarce no cutting knives. The creamer for the coffee was old and clumpy.”

We stayed 3 nights in the apartment and one in their home at the B&B and enjoyed all 4 nights. We also had a beautiful breakfast with them one morning and while we didn't participate in the animal feeding, we enjoyed everything about the property, including learning many things about planting, composting and the overall beauty. “The kitchen is well-provisioned, with a drip coffee maker and a pod system. The host even supplied multiple coffee pods. The living/dining area has plenty of comfortable seating, and the large-screen TV and internet work just fine. There is a welcome binder that explains how to get to the clothes washer and dryer in the basement. Plenty of restaurant choices within 1 and 2 miles. I look forward to return!”

However, this place was so relaxing that we just walked, sat outside next to the river, and spent time in the living room catching up on movies. Fantastic rental!”

“We decided to book this as our children had a basketball tournament at Spookynook. We had a total of 15 people staying Friday -Sunday and we couldn't have asked for a better setup. Plenty of room and the amenities were top-notch. The boys appreciated being able to use the hot tub after a day of playing several games. The host was quick to respond to any questions we had.
