“shuttle service was excellent”

“I appreciate the "extra" touches a hotel makes for their guests feel welcome, but the flower on the toilet paper is disgusting and unnecessary. I used the restroom within the first hour of arriving. The decorative toilet paper flower on the roll had to be removed, only to find a wet spot where it had been affixed to the roll. As a female, the idea of using damp toilet paper (especially from an unknown source) was one of the most disgusting things ever. ”

“The hotel staff were really really nice! The room was nice as well but the curtains didn’t close so it was very bright throughout the night. Also, it would be nice if they had longer shower curtains because our bathroom floor got extremely wet when showering. Also it took a while for the water to get hot. But overall we enjoyed our stay!”

“This was my second stay at this lovely hotel. Its proximity to Crystal Bridges Museum and the town square, its access to the hiking and biking trails are excellent. The hotel itself is fabulous -- great art galleries with rotating collections, wonderfully appointed rooms, an outstanding restaurant, good bar...and the PENGUINS! It has it all!”

“It was new, clean, staff was friendly. My only suggestion would be bigger trash cans since they aren’t emptied daily. ”

“Crappy pillows. Need some firm ones to go with these soft flops. Few small issues that could happen anyplace that are forgivable. The AC could let you hang meat in the room when on. Had to turn it up to keep the frost off the windows 😉”

“The room was fine. The facilities were fine. No problems. The staff - I called for a late checkin (noon) and they said that was fine. Then at 11:19 a cleaning lady knocked. I said, "I need a few minutes. I'm not dressed" and she kept trying to come in. I yelled that I wasn't dressed and she opened the door (the chain was on) and she kept yelling at me that it was after 11. I was almost completely naked and i kept yelling that I'm not dressed and I got a late check out. I was mortified. She just……

“We had an easy check in and check out. The room was large and the bed was comfortable for a home away from home. The area around the hotel had shopping and dining options conveniently.”

“I had requested a more rustic rm, but upon arriving discovered that the more modern style rms had a lovely view of the pond. They graciously switched us. The room was exceptional and the view was lovely. The breakfast options were excellent, especially considering our vegetarian diet. This place is a delight to the senses. Beautiful property and lovely sounds of water just outside. We will be returning😁”
