"We adored our stay and wish we had more time to spend here. What a wonderful country setting in a traditional B &B. Beautiful chapel views from our room which also overlooked a sweet field with sheep. We were welcomed at the door and bid goodbye personally. The cooked to order breakfast was wonderful and thoughtfully prepared and laid out. We would love to return if we are lucky enough to do so. True gem!!! Suzie and Wes from Oregon."

"Friendly staff, on-site parking. Beds were comfortable and room was clean.
Narrow staircase, no lift do big or heavy suitcases could be a challenge.
Breakfast was good!"

"Well what a gem.
Great place, everything you need is there. Except hairdryer, not a problem for me as mine dries fast.
The whole experience was great from start to finish. Comfy bed, shower amazing, hot tub was awesome addition. Great night away and we will definitely be returning.
Dont go to Lygon arms in feckenham ( village closest) food, service was not great at all. Redditch is close by and Hanbury hall"

"Had a lovely stay in this very old characterful building. Yes it was noisy until closing time, but its a pub, stay up and have a drink. Welcome was friendly and no fuss.
Would have loved a couple of herbal tea bags in the tea bag area but thats the only constructive feedback."

"Room was very nice, recently upgraded by the looks of it. Location great and parking was free, just need to put your reg number in at the reception. Breakfast was great too, wide choice to choose from. "
"We were glad we opted for an upgrade to a room in the Manor House. A lovely room. Breakfast was buffet but plenty of choices and coffee was okay. Service good. We visited the pool and steam and sauna which although obviously in need of a refurbish we still enjoyed. The bar and lounge areas were comfortable.
Our only problem, which was quite major for us, was Reception. My husband is disabled and we are both elderly, but when we asked for our bags to be brought down to Reception the Receptionist told us that the staff were all too busy as was she. In the event we left our bags in the room, and delayed our onward journey for an hour to help with our request. Room 2 has steep and shallow stairs that we couldn’t have managed with cases, overall left a very unpleasant taste after an otherwise enjoyable stay. I have asked for the Manager’s email or to get in touch privately but no joy."
"I had a fantastic stay. The room was well equipped, the staff were friendly and facilities excellent. I found the value for money superb. The breakfast in the morning was great for just £10 per person."
"stayed at hotel on 25 April 2026 for one night having booked a superior double room using hotels.com app.
While the room itself was pleasant, the heating system was not functioning. I had to walk for more than 5 minutes to reception to report the issue, as the room telephone went unanswered. A small heater was initially provided, but it was insufficient for the size of the room. I therefore returned to reception to request either a larger heater or an alternative room.
I was then shown another room; however, this was not of the same superior standard, and unfortunately, the heating there was also not working. As a result, I chose to remain in my original room, where a second heater was eventually provided.
I had checked in late in the evening expecting a relaxing stay, but instead spent several hours trying to get the room warm, which was quite disappointing.
Additionally, I noted that there were no dressing gowns in the room and no room service available, despite these being advertised as part of your offering.
Overall, I am very disappointed with the level of service I experienced. I have contact the hotel directly before submitting this review and demanded an explanation but they did not even respond to my complaint."
"Great location with plenty of parking and comfy rooms. Bar area is very relaxing.
However breakfast is a bit chaotic. For the second visit in a row, the coffee machines are not working properly so there's a long queue and frustration. Two domestic toasters but the bread was far too large to fit and resulted in many pieces of burnt toast."
