“Very clean and updated! Only thing, the AC didnt work in our room nor in the living room nor kitchen. Our room was 80° when we got there and it wouldnt come on. They gave us 2 other rooms to choose from and they were both fine. We have friends in CA and would like to bring them over sometime so hopefully this issue can be resolved soon. Thank you much!”

“This isn't the first time we have stayed at the Wurthmann House and will not be the last. We always have had a great experience when staying here. It is by far the best place to stay in Berlin and located right next door to the best restaurant in Berlin, Boyd and Wurthmann. Robert and Connie are the nicest hosts and will help you with whatever you need. It is always nice chatting with them when we come to visit!”

“We enjoyed our stay but thought there were a couple of things missing. We brought ingredients to make morning smoothies, but there was no blender. Also because the internet was out the first night, we couldn't play the DVDs we brought because there was no DVD player. Quiet evenings on the deck were fun. It was a good mini vacation away from it all.”

“My husband and I enjoyed a relaxing 2 night getaway to celebrate our birthdays and anniversary. The house was just as described and we were very pleased with everything. It was clean with a well stocked kitchen, nice bar area & dining room, comfortable bedding and living room with large easy to use TV. We loved the outdoor hot tub and gas grill too! We had a little trouble getting the grill to light, but a call to Lamar quickly resolved the issue. The most important things I look for when I rent……

“The property is a wonderful place to stay. The view is amazing from the wrap around porch. This is the 3rd time we have stayed there. Not far from Berlin, Sugar Creek, Mt. Hope, Charm or Walnut Creek. My sister and adult daughter love to get away there for a girls retreat. Eli is a wonderful host. It is very clean and comfortable and has a hot tub! The goats are a bonus.”

“Our stay here was very nice, it was very clean, comfortable bed. The hot tub was very clean, and very close to Mohican State Park. The cookware was amazing, I enjoy cooking and some places I stay the cookware is awful, this was very impressive cookware. My husband and I will be back. We loved it.”

I grew up in Holmes County and I have to say that this cabin represents Holmes County beautifully. The Cabin is well kept and clean. The host demonstrated wonderful hospitality. The views were amazing. The location is great, you are in the country but still close enough to run into town if needed. It was the perfect anniversary getaway.”

“I couldn't have asked for a better hostess. Martha was extremely nice, helpful, and the communication was excellent. We added a relaxing couples massage to our stay, which we were able to enjoy in the comfort and privacy of the cabin. We also paid extra to have the bed and jacuzzi decorated with rose petals and tea lights, which added to the romantic ambiance. The scrumptious breakfast was well worth the additional cost and we were pleasantly surprised to find a personalized message written on……
