"Stayed in Chalet 302 for a quick overnight. We chose this option based on pictures from the website and we were quickly disappointed. It looks as though this chalet has not been updated since... ever. It smelled super musty and dusty and felt super dirty. For one night, it was fine, but I would not have subjected the family to more than that.
For how bad our Chalet was, I do feel like this property has soooo much potential. It looks like other units and some of the rooms have been updated and I hope that continues as the property over all is really cool and in a great location. The lady at the front desk was also super helpful."
"Older hotel but was great stay for 1 night on our way to Lake Tahoe. After a long travel day, it was an easy check in and the restaurant attached to the hotel was such a relaxing place to enjoy supper and meal was reasonable and excellent. Ate there again for breakfast and was delicious. Best vanilla latte I have had anywhere and the staff could not have been more pleasant or helpful. Loved what they are all about in helping with the Teen Challenge program. So glad we stayed here and would stay again."
"This hotel smells awful. We tried to stay there anyway (had a two day visit), but the air conditioning was not suitable and it was hotter inside the room than outside. They do not staff their hotel overnight, so the only solution they were willing to offer was "open a window and deal with it until tomorrow". We ended up leaving and going to another hotel, so did not complete our night stay. They refunded the whole night for the second night, but would only offer a 50% refund on the first night."
