「Overall, the property was clean and comfortable. The bedrooms were a good size and worked well for the adults and teens who stayed with us. However, the noise from the highway was relatively loud in the front bedroom at night. The kitchen and living room space were small for 3 adults and 2 teens. We had brought food along to utilize the kitchen and save money on eating out, but we found the kitchen to lack some functionality as there were no empty cabinets or shelves to store food. 「What a perfect setting in the woods and close to everything ie. Lutsen and Grand Marais. A few initial small glitches; however, Mr. Smothers was MORE than accommodating especially given it was Thanksgiving day. Pool was closed; however, the public pool in Grand Marais was open. A setting were several quiet walks with family was very relaxing and therapeutic! I HIGHLY recommend THE HIBERNATION HOUSE! 」
