“The house was very spacious and clean. Nicely appointed and just a few miles from the Sequoias. The best part was sitting on the porch and taking in the magnificent view. There were horses on the property next door which was a hit with the grandson. Would definitely rent again!!”

“This property was the best of both worlds. Very private yet only a few minutes from town and Sequoia National Park. Home is located on the side of a hill for extraordinary views. The home was spotless and very well appointed with all supplies. Communication with our host was excellent.”

“We throughly enjoyed our four night stay at the Ranch River Cabin. Perfect size for the two of us. And having a full kitchen was perfect as we didn’t want to spend a fortune eating out. We really enjoyed our time on the ranch and all it had to offer. We spent time sitting at the private beach area on the river. We walked along the aqueduct and also took a hike up to the waterfall and to the top of the property. The highlights of the trip were all the wildlife/animals we encountered. Wild turkeys……

“Unfortunately, we were only at the house for one night, but it was great! It was very clean and had all of the amenities we were looking for. The house was tucked away and quiet. Excellent star gazing opportunities and so incredibly close to the entrance for Sequoia National Park! Highly recommend”

“Excellent!!! Our hosts tried to think of everything to make our stay comfortable. Microwave, refrigerator, a basket of snacks, dishes,and coffee and tea, We were surprised by the quality of the place. The workmanship that was put into buildin was 5 star. It is located in a great area on the side of a hill with a nice view of the mountain across the canyon. I would highly recommend this place!!!”

“We met up for the Jazz Festival. Although tucked away, this was a great place to stay, with easy access. my only reservation was the climbing up the steep stairs. ( being in the mountains, I should have known.) One of the group has cardiac problems so this was a bit difficult. Otherwise, everything was very clean and well organized. Virtually anything we needed was available. The views were unbelievable coffee on the porch was fantastic. Thank you for a wonderful stay.”

“Nice, comfortable cabin - we stayed there with 5 adults and two kids. The location is convenient and the cabin was stocked with everything we needed. Only issue we encountered was that the two bigger burners on the stove didn’t work - we were able to work around it but the heating the water for morning coffee/tea took a long time, lol! ”

“We had a good stay, the view is by far the best feature, loved waking up and having breakfast in the porch looking at the mountains around us. Cabin is comfortable, bed might be a bit too noisy for a light sleeper, but reason for not giving 5 stars is that we found several pans/pots very dirty. I do appreciate they gave us a brand new sponge (not everyone does that). Host was responsive and accommodating even with a very late check-in time!”

“Very spacious with plenty of rooms for our 4. Recommend trying to arrive during daylight hours as the drive is very steep and a little tricky to see in the dark. ”

“Outstanding home about 5 minutes from Sequoia NP. Easy to find and very well maintained. There are somewhat limited restaurant options so we recommend cooking. The kitchen is very good with all needed items. ”

“Accessibility to park and restaurants convenient. The cabin was very tidy and clean inside. Cabin definitely needs some repairs to help keep the flying and crawling night insects out. A good sealing around wall AC and door frames is needed. Old windows in bedrooms. One window doesn’t close all the way so flying little bugs come in through the screens.”

“Everything was great. Our family really liked the house. It was spacious and comfortable. The kitchen had everything needed to cook family meals and we soaked in the hot tub and played games after visiting Sequoia National Park. Would definitely stay again.”
