“We stayed for 2 nights to attend an event at Springfield College. 'We' were 5 adults, 2 kids and 2 dogs. While it is pet friendly there were no remnants of any pets from previous renters. It is an OLD farmhouse that was immaculate and comfortably furnished. It is stocked with plenty of towels and all the kitchen utensils and appliances needed. The property is very quiet and relaxing. Plenty of parking and a nice backyard for active kids.”

“Smooth and straightforward check-in process. They were accommodating to our schedule and communicated everything in a timely manner. House was clean and everything looked as listed. Kitchen was well stocked with up to date appliances and plenty of utensils which was a nice surprise. Plenty of space for 7 of us, would suggest bringing an air mattress though if with a larger party. Overwhelming positive experience overall. ”

“excellent property, great value, good location. very clean. Only 1 minor issue and a couple of siggestions: we seen too many carpenter ants(large black) throughout the house. Suggestions: extra pillows and blankets and it might be helpful to have at least 1 grab bar in the tub/shower. We would stay here again when in the area. ”

“Owners have thought of everything. We found the stay very comfortable, the hosts very responsive, and the kids (and dad!) enjoyed the TV room and the little arcade. Would definitely stay here again. ”

“This place was perfect. Easy walking distance to nearby restaurants, movie theaters, groceries, etc. in downtown West Hartford. The place had everything you could think of, from kitchen utensils, kitchen basics (oil, salt/pepper, coffee, etc.), even some nice touches like charger plugs on every nightstand. Just a real easy and pleasurable experience. If I could buy this house, I would.”

“The home was an easy drive to U of Hartford, graduation downtown & the airport. It fit our family of 6 adults well & the property manager was quick to address our needs. While an older home with ongoing repairs, it was comfortable and secure, provided air conditioning & everything we needed in the kitchen. Overall, it was a good choice for graduation week events & we would recommend this home to others for a pleasant stay.”

“Absolutely wonderful girls weekend at this cozy colonial! The house oozes old house charm, with modern touches that still preserve a historical feeling. Every amenity is exactly where you’d expect, from towels to umbrellas to kitchenwares. If you ever dreamed of living in a magazine spread, this is the spot for you. A short walk down the sidewalk takes you into the heart of Litchfield - even at night, it was well lit enough to walk. Liz is a kind host, and the check in / check out process is……
