The spa was very clean, well-maintained and efficiently run, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The only disappointment was that the hot tub/jacuzzi was cold. The steam room and spa area were quite small, but fortunately, it wasn’t busy during our visit, so we were able to make the most of the facilities. Our room was spotless, and the bathroom was also lovely and clean. Breakfast was delicious, and the service was quick and efficient, with food freshly prepared to order. Overall, we had a lovely experience. With a warmer jacuzzi, the spa facilities would have been even better!

Lovely characterful property. Friendly staff and very polite, Room was good, huge bathroom and very clean, robes and towels supplied. We did use the pool which was lovely. There is nothing lift so be careful if a bit unsteady on your legs as lots of steps and stairs around.

Lovely, personable staff who made the stay perfect for us and were always happy to help. Spa was very nice and outdoor plunge pool essential to survive the heatwave! We also had massages which were nice and relaxing (I fell asleep twice) Would definitely recommend

On day of arrival and also during the stay the reception and restaurant staff was amazing. We booked the stay based on how we were spoken over the phone when contacting the propery prior for some details. Spa facilities clean and fully working, cannot mention a negative comment about the property.

Excellent check in and brief overview of the hotel and key areas. Good sized room and bathroom. Restaurant was fine, menu a little limited but the steak was good. Breakfast cooked to order and great quality. Staff at breakfast very pleasant. Didn’t use the Spa as I didn’t have time but it looked busy. Overall a great one night stay for the money and will definitely be back.

Everything from start to finish was superb. The welcome was happy and polite with even a little tour of the facilities. Not sure if we got an upgrade but the room (28) was massive with a jacuzzi bath and was very clean. Breakfast was lovely. Didn't have any treatments but used the facilities and can't fault it in any way. Would definitely recommend this place.

Nice hotel, an older building with a more modern extension. Professional friendly and service oriented staff everywhere. We just had an anniversary night away and thoroughly enjoyed it. Dinner was excellent and well served and waited on. Our bedroom wasn’t air conditioned and that would have been a bonus as it was in the 30s outside, however the fan in the room was a life saver. Other rooms do have aircon so it’s worth asking.
