「A decent stay with an ocean view! The room was very small, but that was fine for one night. The cabin is old and could use updates, but it’s received a cosmetic upgrade recently so it’s cute inside. The WiFi was just upgraded (Oct 2026) and worked really well. It’s a cheap stay at the beach in a good location—everything you need at that price.」

「To begin with the room, it was well maintained with the most unique old world charm. Everything was in good working order and the kitchen was well stocked. The lake was beautiful which added to a beautiful sunset. The train passed twice in the afternoon, but it was not loud. I actually found it to be quite interesting 」

「I am a little disappointed in the listing for this property. I was not notified til I booked that I could only get to cabin by boat. Each shuttle was 100.00 per way when I was told by property owner that is was 60.00 if you booked in advance the boat launch company said it has not been that low in price in over ten years. I wanted a romantic getaway and ended up with a headache that cost me way more money on top if the cabin price.they also said they had two kayaks and two paddle boards but we...

「As you approach the property you see an unkept yard with broken down vehicles. Our luxury studio had large trash cans in front and 2 rusty boats. Our view from the room faced a cluttered backyard with a rusty tractor, railroad tracks, then the beautiful lake. We walked around the studios to try to get to the lake abd found more broken down vehicles and more non landscaped land. Behind our slay bed was a wall of spider webs. While laying in the bed you can hear everything your neighbor does in...

「Some aspects were great, others were not. The ocean view from the deck and inside were awesome! Loved hearing the ocean the whole time! Big issue was entering and exiting. We were provided an 8-digit lockbox code but it kept flashing red light (error/wrong code) before all 8 digits could be entered. After contacting host (property management or VRBO--unsure who I was talking to, but they were helpful), they provided the combination code for the lockbox that had keys. The locks kept spinning and...
