「The breakfasts were scrumptious. The beach was just below our room, with extensive views across the Cleddau estuary, with 2 swans coming in and out with the tides. The hotel staff were helpful, knowledgeable and eager to ensure our stay was comfortable and memorable. 」

「This place is truly unique. We were met at reception and shown to the breakfast room and various lounges, then to our room. All had spectacular views. There are tea and coffee making facilities in a kitchen area (as well as in the room) and an honesty bar. All are decorated to a 5-star standard. We ate at the local pub a short walk away along with other residents and had a very pleasant evening. 「Nobody at the property when we arrived, had to wait 10 minutes for the housekeeping lady to arrive. She was great and very apologetic. Room was freezing on arrival.」

「We arrived to no one around and after walking around the property finally saw an envelope with our name on it and our key. Our room smelt moldy and damp. The carpet was dirty and the walls were peeling. The beds were very uncomfortable. It was shocking to see after such a high rating. The yard was unkempt and there was a general air of neglect about the whole place. 」

「The staff and both mangers were great really friendly and helpful but the room number although clean killed my ocd with the telly on the leaning to one side wallpaper pealing respairs to the wall not even rubbed down and painted carpets need to go in a skip and the bed if I’m honest the food and the beer was outstanding as well as the staff so they made the break away not the room if your listening head office spend a few bob !!」

「The cottage is lovely and comfortable and well equipped for a family of 4. The small holding that it was on is located in a nice little village with a great pub a couple of doors away. The children loved having the alpacas close by and would go and visit them every morning. Beds were comfortable, the shower was nice and powerful. We would definitely stop again if we were visiting the local area. 」
